  4. Yes it's an early Type A 16 valve ROOF, with a horid exhaust system cobbed together from flex pipe. The Type B was a totally redesigned head and the Type C yet another redesign and the best of the bunch. The intake isn't too racy either. Humor us, what is the asking price?
  5. David, Please don't get picky on the details of 58 Mustang's post. How often do you see something generate THREE PAGES of replies on this Forum? I thought the Cord was neat, and enjoied seeing the photos and learning its history. I'd like to see it rolling down the road rodded or restored, stored inside wouldn't be a bad idea either.
  6. Four Banger or just Banger a hopped up Model T, A, or B Ford four cylinder engine.
  7. What am I missing, I don't see any change? True, I list more than buy, but all my searches turn up parts I'm intersted in.

That is not an Andy Gibb item, it is a GEE-BEE made in Springfield. Mass.
  9. The 1911 MERCER is new to me, or is it a known old one with a fresh restoration? Thanks for posting the photos, my boss was there and said it was a really fine show.

Any ideas? </div></div> Thanks for the post John, It is up to page 2 on the HAMB right now, and will hit 4 by tomorrow morning IMO. Something looks very odd about the Cord trunk area. I'm sure someone on the HAMB will have the details.

Has anyone told you about eBay? Try it you may sell something.
  12. Glad to know there were two others that thought Cameron first, that tiller sure adds to the mystery of what the car is.
  13. Anyone else notice the square tube front bumper?
  14. I think that is $10.00 down, payments to follow. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Manuel</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Not bad for $10!!! Is the next one a Nash? Manuel in Oz </div></div>
  15. I listen to AM talk radio, and not in the "New Car" market this late in life.
  16. I sinply state in my auctions "I DO NOT TRUST ANY SHIPPING RATE eBay WILL ADD TO ANY OF MY AUCTIONS, I SHIP FED EX GROUND BASED ON BOX SIZE AND WEIGHT. If they can't read that and insist on paying before I send the End of Auction notice I keep the overpayment. If Johnny can't read too bad.
  17. Jason, Was location something on your chart? Can't see a car of equal condition out in the boonies bring the same money as one within a days drive.
  18. Dean, I haven't noticed the "NEW" eBay change, but based on 10 years of eBay sales ANY CHANGE IS BAD! I stlll want ten minutes alone in a room with the ----head that added the shipping rate section to the item posting form.
  19. I thought an empty glue bottle for $62.00 was good.
  20. If you consider the lost days pay, gas, food and maybe lodging to go to a flea market vs eBay, eBay will cost you less per part, and you will have the item within a week in most cases. I assembled a correct 1937 Harley 45 through eBay auctions something you could NEVER do by attending fleamarkets. Anyone want to start a list of the non automotive items you made a killing on through eBay?

  22. The Palmer - Singer evoleved into the Singer and used a 50 HP Herschell- Spillman 6 cylinder engine.
