  1. OK, what did I work on yesterday…… WARNING: Cute Grandchild story alert……. For several years now (since age 5) Grandson Rosco has always shown a fascination for riding in our various Model T Fords. He is more interested in watching the driver than the scenery. Well, when he showed up yesterday for a one week stay with us he boldly announced he was tall enough to operate the pedals on the T and was ready to take his first drive. OK! We found a dead end quiet road an commenced a lesson in pedal operation. With typical childhood impatience he told me he knew what all the controls did and in what sequence was appropriate to drive. Let’s go! Sooooo…..here we go. I did take a video but I am keeping it private as I want to avoid prosecution by the authorities……..😂
  2. I would love to see a video of that chipper gobbling up those trees! Good Luck with your project!
  3. Nicest color combination available in 1955….I love it 😍
  4. Don, I recall relaying my experience to you with Diamondback a year or two ago. For the benefit of others reading this I rate them and their tires 5 stars! Congrats on choosing the Auburn line, I am very satisfied with the sets I bought for both my ‘40’s cars. I sure love that Buick of yours!
  5. Thanks for the additional details @ericmac……Mr. Kohl’s car was the one I was referring to when I mentioned the basic Model T. I saw his at the 2014 OCF.
  6. Not unless it’s a non starter (non electric) basic Model T…….cowl lamps and tail lamp would be kerosene with the headlamps and horn being magneto powered. I have only seen one of these equipped in this manner in 40 years of Model T ownership. @ericmac may chime in with more info.
  7. One of these just as nice sold recently near me for similar money. I had a ‘46 D-24 club coupe from 1978-88 and drove the wheels off it. Never failed to get me home, never had to put $$ in it other than routine maintenance. If I didn’t have my NY’er I would buy the Dodge that was near me. Good cars!
  8. I have had mechanical brakes on many cars over the years and I concur with @wayne sheldon …….most Model A clubs have annual service clinics about brakes, that is where I learned. I have had seven Model A’s over the years and every one was properly set up and maintained. I could “stop on a dime” (and give ya 9 cents change😂).
  9. I am currently in Seattle and I alerted the prior owner of the sale. He told me to sell my plane tickets and buy the car to drive home. I would love to! However, I have been down the Woody road twice, on to something else.
  10. I know the previous owner of this car who sold it to the current owner. The previous owner and his father owned car for about 30 years. It is an honest car that is a real beauty, I have seen it in person.
  11. Love this car, the coupes and sedans from the 20s up through 1934 are some of my favorite cars. I grew up pointing out every square car I saw behind buildings or in fields. Fond memories. This is a very nice car.
  12. This is a 65 series Rockne with the 110” wheelbase AND it is a very nice car. The 75 series had a 114” WB and a current (for that era) Studebaker derivitive 6 cyl motor. This 65 series model had a unique to Rockne motor that later grew into a long line of Studebaker sixes that lasted many years.
  13. I agree @TAKerry……loaded with accessories including the much hated (by me) water pump.
  14. I remember the WK I owned about 40 years ago. It was the smokiest car I ever drove…..No mosquitoes survived that summer in my district! I do like this one however…..
  15. Good Condition $25.00 includes postage in continental USA [scampoutatcomcastdotnet] or PM
  16. Dodge Manual in good condition, $25.00 Chrysler Manual in like new condition $30.00 The price includes postage in the continental USA [scampoutatcomcastdotnet] or PM
  17. As I posted in another Model A listing…… Give this a nice detail job + complete mechanical service then drive it to the local cruise in……it would be a hit!
