  1. I remember this one from way in the past. This thread was one of the best I have read about a restoration. It is in the same league as some more recent ones, such as ones by @Lahti35 and @Matt Harwood.
  2. A Fluid Drive Chrysler is soooo easy to drive,, almost like an automatic transmission. Really. If you don’t know or understand how to use the Fluid Drive just ASK and anyone who owns or drives one (like me!) and we can walk you through it.
  3. VG to excellent condition, $100.00 OBO ppd in the continental USA. PM or email [scampoutatcomcastdotnet]. SOLD
  4. @TexRiv_63 So happy to hear the tires worked out well. I am very happy with them on my Chrysler. Yer killin’ me with all those pictures of the beautiful Buick!
  5. Thanks @Steve_Mack_CT! The car is still available, asking is 55K but the car is beautiful. I love the deep red interior on the one I looked at. I did buy another car from this person, see my recent post in the thread in the Projects forum titled “What are you working on right now”.
  6. Hey @Steve_Mack_CT, does your Packard have a woodgrained dash? The ‘37 I looked at last year had this dash. Which is correct, or are both “correct”?
  7. My first car! No, not this one, but mine was the identical model, color, and interior. I bought it from my neighbor for 3 cents a pound spring of 1969. 6G4001285, I will never forget the VIN. I have ZERO interest in buying this car!
  8. I could learn to love this one quite easily…….I did a total brake re-do on my NY’er last winter. Would likely take a LOT less time for me to do another. Hmmmmmm….
  9. Nice car…..was posted and commented on last spring. Tough sell in today’s world. Here are my comments from then…. “Looks like a very nice car for the $$$……..a friend has an Overland and it is a nice tidy car, fun to ride in. I like the exterior patina on this one combined with a nice interior. Cheap fun!”
  10. @John Byrd Don’t EVER quit!!! 😎 See above about my 94 year old friend!
  11. I bought this ‘26 T from a long time friend. I would stop by his place in SE Minnesota 3-4 times a year to visit. Watched him restore this one. He has restored many cars and enjoys the process. He moves on to a new project and rarely drives the cars he restores, just parks them until someone comes along to buy one. He is 94 now, mentally sharp but the old bod is breaking down. He still has 10 or so cars, some restored, some just drivers. Wants to sell all but his asking is usually high. He gave me a good deal though on the T.
  12. I actually spotted one of these on the road in Austria two weeks ago. Cute!
  13. If I was seriously interested in this car I would want an inspection underneath……I have personally looked at several of these cars which appeared excellent and found body mounts in poor condition.
