1. Do you still sneed the fender? I may have one for a standard.
2. I looks like I was not signed in when I put on the message offering help.
3. I have a back window for a 4 door incase you need that part. I am sorry that I do not have the windshield. I do have a windshield from a 64 Olds 88 still in the body shell. If that fits and you are interested, I will check to see how much it costs to remove it. I looked to see where you are located but there is no information posted so I do not know if there is a distance problem.
4. Dave, Thanks for the reply. I think that the shipping is going to make the cost to high. Fred Rawling
5. Where are the doors and how much are you asking?
6. Would you be interested in an oil bath air cleaner that mounts on the 3 head bolts with a pipe going over from the top of the air cleaner to the top of the carburetor. The pipe is 2 1/2 inch diameter. The filter is aproximately 7 inches in diameter and 12 inches high. It comes apart about 2/3 of the way down with some wing head screws. This one is dirty but not dented. I have heard them called West Texas air cleaners. Supposedly there was a lot of dust blowing around there and these were used instead of the standard air cleaner. I want $50.00 for it because even though it needs to be cleaned up, it has the pipe and clamps with it. I also have one of the small air cleaners that fit on the carburetor for $30.00. This one is correct but someone took the ridges out of the top and it is now smooth. It is clean.
7. Fits 1937 - 115, 6 cyl and 1938 -1600 6 cyl. New old stock. $32.00
8. 64 Dynamic 88 4 door body from the cowel back with glass, doors frame and front suspension. $75. or best offer or parts. No rust in the trunk floor. I know that on 73 Chevys, the convertables and 4 door sedans used the same trunk pan and floor pan. Maybe someone with a rusty convertable could use these parts.
9. My 1940 UMS book shows under Oldsmobile: 32-34 6 & 8 cyl. # 1853907; 35-36 all, 538-z, and heavy duty # 115140; 37-38 all, 1115126, heavy duty # 545-B and 39-42 all # 1115126 and heavy duty @ 1115140. Neither the specific car or the general listing have either of your numbers. Sorry, that is the best I can offer
10. I found the place to add the picture; but just learning about the computer,I have no idea what to do. Do I need a digital picture or do I scan a picture in and if so, how do I do it.
11. Same question! How much for the stainless mouldings and how do I contact you. Paul, I tried to e-mail you and could not do it. I have a 35 96C. I can check to see how much they would charge to cast a copy of my trunk rack bracket. E-mail me if you are interested.
12. If you are on the West Coast, try Lucas Engineering in Signal Hill, Ca.
13. The windshield out of the 64 Olds measures 58 inches across the top, 66 inches at the bottom and 21 inches each side. These could be off slightly. I do not think that it will a skylark. Anyone out there with a full size Buick that needs a windshield or back glass?
14. How Much are you asking for the mouldings?
15. If you are on this side of the country, I have a 84 Century, white with red interior for sale for $300.00. It was in a high school auto shop and the kids reved it up and broke something. I have not tried to start it. The body is good and the upholstry is good with only a few rugs from getting in and out. E-mail or call. (562) 867-7803
16. I have a 64 Olds Dynamic 88 4 door with a good windshield, back glass and 3 door windows. It is in Bellflower, Ca.. What do you need. I can send measurements.
17. In California, if the car is a special interest car or historical car, you can avoid the non operation fees. You have to fill out an affidavit stating that it is either special interest or historical. The worst that happened was that they charged me $5.00 because (they said) the computer would not move forward without that fee.
I have registered several vehicles where the owner lost the papers. I went in with a non operation cert from the seller, a bill of sale and a hand written statement that he had lost his paper work and got the car registered without problems. These were historical, antique, or special interest vehicles. I do not know about modern iron.
18. The data plate should be on the firewall on the passenger side in the engine compartment.
I think that it was riveted on but mine is off and I do not remember how it was fastened. Who can help on this.
19. I have the wind wings from a 61 Invicta. Will they work?
20. Nice 84 Century, white with red interior. Some rubs on the upholstry, no dents, needs engine, Calif non-op on it, no back licence fees due. Can deliver if close.
21. I am 62 and they are starting to ask me if I am the origional owner of the 28 Buick that I drive.
22. Roger,
Your e-mail address on this forum is comming up undeliverable. What is your new address? Check bobsautomobilia.com for the rubber.
Fred
23. I have the body from the cowel back for a 4 door. It is in good condition. No rust in the floor pans or trunk. I offered it for $75. or best offer. It is going to the junk yard in about 2 weeks so who wants to make an offer for all or parts? I also have the doors, seats, power stearing box, and chasis except for the rear end.
