  1. *** This is a current picture of the 1913 Lozier Lakewood Torpedo. Yes, the car is still with the family of whom I've been acquainted with since the mid 1990's... The car has been restored including the engine but to the best of my knowledge it hasn't seen any time on the road since the early 1970's. She's comfortably tucked away... for now... 3. Hi Glenn, I was lucky enough to purchase a 1915 runabout /roadster a year and a half ago from a local collector. Part of the inventory that came with the car was the last known owners list for the Simplex line of cars. I have a copy of it in PDF and could email it to you if you like. It was last compiled in 1991... In researching the car and the owners list, I was able to track down the son of the fellow that compiled the directory. His father, now deceased, was apparently very taken with the Simplex brand (sounded like almost an obsession) and he spent YEARS chasing down and maintaining a list of these cars and who was in possession of them. Over the course of the last year, I've put a new radiator in my car... the core having been made in England and then a shop in P.A. having pulled out the old rad and installed the new core in the shell. While VERY expensive, I am very happy with the work that was done and the 'ol gal is just purring down the highway.. !!! My car is the earliest known 1915 in existence, Ser #2045. roger
  4. I have NO idea. The closest I can come that from the little working knowledge I have, the '29 and '30 were pretty much if not completely the same. So... if a '26 matches the '29, we'd be in business, but I won't hold my breath... Copper
  5. I am currently in the process of restoring a 1930 Chrysler Imperial two door convertible. Unfortunately the rear axle has a painfully low gear set, 4.90-1. I'm looking for either a high speed Crown & Pinion or the entire axle with a higher ratio set of gears. Also, while the transmission housing fits, it is not the correct one for this car. I'd very much appreciate any leads on obtaining these items. Thanks very much !!! BC_Copper
  6. Sorry gents... that should be for a 1930 60 series...
  7. Folks, I've broken the mounting bracket on my (pot metal) fuel pump and am hoping someone out there has one for sale. All that I actually need is the bottom half - the part that mounts to the engine. If you have one available - for sale - I'd REALLY APPRECIATE an email !!! Cheers, Roger Morrow 'roger.morrow@shaw.ca' rm
  8. Hey folks, wondering if anyone out there has a set of front shocks (suitable for rebuilding) for a '30 Buick that they'd be willing to part with. Drop me and email if you'd be so kind... Thanks in advance, Roger Morrow ' roger.morrow@shaw.ca ' rm
  9. Found not one, not two but THREE in Illinois... Thanks to another BCA member on the roster !!! Thanks all...
  10. Ironic... I sent my carb off for rebuilding and it got damaged on route. The pot metal bowl was severly cracked and now I'm in need of a replacement. The car it goes on is a 1930 60 Series (Model 69) 7 Passenger Phaeton. If anyone has a bowl that their willing to part with, I'd be indebted to them. An email would be appreciated to: ' roger.morrow@shaw.ca ' Thanks all !!! rm
  11. There's numbers on the jets and according to the owners manual, the ones on my 60 Series are for the 40 - 50 Series... rm
