  1. 1836 Chevrolet Master 3-window coupe. It appears to have a rumble seat, hence the external spare. The Pontiac coupe has a conventional trunk and, I suppose the spare is inside, although there are no photos of it. The spare is not inside the passenger compartment.
  2. Well, I guess we we won't be seeing any "antique" electric cars (newer or older) since they really don't have crankshafts. Honda Insight and GM EV-1
  3. 1936 Pontiac Silver Streak US $15,200.00 (as of 02/08/2024) 23 bids Ends in 4d 5hMonday, 05:38 PM Reserve not met
  4. Are you saying a 455 is slow? Well, probably not quite that much in the US. My 455 Buick Wildcat is no econo-box, but I can usually make it OK between gas stations if I don't show off in front of too many rice burners, tuners and jacked up black pickups along the way.
  5. Too bad car and truck bones don't contain DNA. Life would be a lot easier.
  6. I'd be hard pressed to find a car, any car, anywhere, that wouldn't look nice compared to that Ferrari !
  7. Did bordellos make house calls back in the day? Could have been a "company car".
  8. Are you the guy who bought this Ferrari? Need any bridges or swamp land? Wrecked Ferrari Worth $1.9 Million? https://www.esquire.com/lifestyle/cars/a44870792/ferrari-wreck-monterey-car-week-auction/

  10. Here's some old solutions that didn't need to have all 4 wheels turn. https://www.facebook.com/engrandarch/videos/self-parking-car-in-1933the-ingenious-fifth-wheel-parallel-parking-tool-that-nev/775064853189037/?locale=ar_AR
  11. Sorry, but in my neck of the woods, $1,500 has become the new $15,000. What I used to sell for around $2000 in past years, people are asking many multiples for today. Unless you are thinking of brass or really early cars, which I don't follow, I don't see much in the way of deflation - despite the aging and thinning of current owners. '60's through '80's appear strong, followed by '40's and then '30's. Most '90's have not reached their peak and many of them may be of little interest to collectors anyway. I admit high-buck car prices of the recent past - not including the ridiculous auction offerings that the elite play with - may be in decline, but so has disposable income for most of us in the 99% as living expenses climb.
  12. Hey, Dave, there's a section of the forum for old photographs called "Photos and Videos" and would be a much better place for this and similar contributions. Thanks for your posts, but I think they'd get more attention posted in the right forum section.
  13. Unless you have some sentimental reason to want this Plymouth, I can't see that most people who want to drive an older car would be attracted to a drab, low powered 4-door sedan. I'm sure a brighter color would have attracted more interest despite it's mundane appearance, not that the owner would do any changes. Ho-hum cars usually go to ho-hum buyers or the price is reduced to the point some flipper is attracted and thinks there's a profit to be made. Maybe this is a flip from a $1500 estate sale.
  14. A similar one is listed on the etsy auction site. No details - just says "British". Probably fell off some fancy dude at a polo match or fox hunt. Big bucks - $18.00 + $6.50 shipping. https://www.etsy.com/listing/954307034/british-badge-medal-crest-vintage-1980s
  15. Does not appear to be automotive. Did your relative have any portable industrial or agricultural equipment or trailers? Might check behind the barn. Could be a local retailer's logo since it is a stick on label. Golf cart, ATV?
  16. It's gotta be old Uncle Jack's car that they are trying to help Aunt Mary sell after his passing. They just "duded it up" a little so it would appeal more to the younger crowd.
  17. A great meeting place for your Cars and Coff...er...Champagne group.
