  1. At $2,750. this one'on the cusp. Parts or drive? A good 390 and a C-6 for your F-100 or street Mustang might just be sitting here. However, you're left with a pile of parts that will take some time to market. Upscale Fords or downscale Lincoln 4-doors aren't on the top of the list for most "enthusiasts". Otherwise, if you can afford the gas, probably a good winter "beater", but hardly worth putting much effort or $$ into.
  2. It would probably sell overnight on BAT. Big Buick, big bucks. Could use a little more creativity in making the after market wires look more like real Buick wheels.
  3. Seller: Get it out of the garage and take some decent pictures.
  4. Should super eights for 1949 have the Cormorant hood ornament?
  5. 1959 Plymouth other $700 Listed 4 days ago in Booneville, MS Seller's Description "1959 Plymouth - NOT IN RUNNING CONDITION" Sure glad he told us - never would have guessed!
  6. This is the style and size of what we used to call a Black Mariah, if it were all black and had police department markings. Black Mariah -- A police van (also known as a paddy wagon, meat wagon, divisional van, patrol van, patrol wagon, police wagon, Black Mariah/Maria, police carrier, or in old-fashioned usage, pie wagon) is a type of vehicle operated by police forces.
  7. These pieces are very similar to both '60's Buick Riviera and '60's Ford Fairlane or Galaxie lower door/quarter panel or rocker trim. If there aren't part #s on the pieces, you'd need to compare them with a complete car ot search the net, year by year.
  8. Didn't they come with a fiberglass "parade" boot to cover the folded top? Evidently, they are available on the repro market. US $3,397.75 + shipping
  9. Well, here's a good example of how some of us excelled in life, and others of us became hot rodders. To paraphrase a popular song of the past, "Don't let your children grow up to be street racers!".
  10. You guys missed the best part of this sale. Plenty of parts...Should have been advertised as a jig-saw puzzle. A couple of weekends and you've got a show winner. 👌 Might need new motor mounts... I think the cigar lighter and the ash tray are in here... Here's the glove box and the propeller... Rear bumper and quarter panel trim... Wiring harness and seats... Mufflers, seat belts, starter cable ...what more could you need?
  11. Probably would have been priced near $30k not too long ago. Looks like a great survivor/driver and lots of fun. Maybe add OD and hydraulics for safety's sake, but otherwise keep it as-is. Wish it were closer.
  12. Pretty poor pictures. Should have had his wife or grandkids help. Maybe help on pricing, too.
  13. Another "can deliver/already on the trailer" flipper deal. $8000. worth of car, $7000. worth of barn dust/patina.
  14. What's the juice can on the heater box do? Six volt electricals in '55, or 12V? Unfortunate choices for carpet color and window trim/dash/steering wheel color, too. Seat upholstery doesn't seem to match anything, either. Package tray carpeted? Engine bay is clean, but exterior paint needs to be polished, driver's side rear bumper tip, re-chromed. THEN, someone might, at least, consider the asking price.
  15. IMHO, a more attractive car than the '46 - '50 Packards, but still that unmistakable "garden slug" profile that permeated the design departments after the war. (Packard, Kaiser-Frazer, Lincoln, Mercury, Hoover Vacuums, etc). If it runs, maybe $5K, if it drives well and can stop, then maybe more.
  16. Another hot rod waiting for a 350 and disc brakes.
  17. Looks like the Blackhawk and Peterson's missed the list. And Leno's, being private, wouldn't be considered.
  18. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3701678370108246/?ref=product_details&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks One of 1248 made in 1982. Seller does not indicate 6 or 8 cyls. Hagerty's #3 value guesstimate is $11,000. Seller's Description 1992 Buick Convertible · Convertible · Driven 82,000 miles Very nice original car low mileage call for details 208 660 0978
  19. Contrary to some peoples belief, parts of Montana have "progressed" into the 21st century. Strip malls, subdivisions, pollution, congestion, homelessness, inflation, EV's - just like where you are living.
