  1. So the weather has cooled and my honey do list is down to nothing. Its time to start the disassembly and swapping of the sheet metal from my parts car. Before digging in feet first I figured that I would ask you guys for any tips and tricks. The rear quarters and all front sheetmetal are getting swapped. Are all of the bolts accessable from outside in the rear wheel wells or do I have to pull the interior panels? Thanks in advance and Ill be adding photos as we go!
  2. Yes, I have both and won't be needing them in Florida!
  3. I'm pretty sure I have what you want.
  4. This car is a Super with Roadmaster quarters on it. I will be using the Roadmaster quarters on my Roadmaster. Bill had amassed a collection of very nice parts, I will be using those parts to get me that much closer to the completion of the 53 Roadmaster
  5. Just back from a nice trip through a Forrest Gump like monsoon.
  6. If you want real high quality bias ply white walls, let me know, I'm a Goodyear dealer.
  7. I am excited to say that this is coming south to me!
  8. As always for me I am the exception! I cant see any stamping at all inside or out.
  9. These are NOS Foxcraft skirts that were in the original sealed box marked to fit the 53 Buick. They do not fit my 53 Roadmaster 2door. Any idea what they might fit?
  10. Thanks Al. 33 inches end to end on the skirts which fits my opening well. its the curves that just dont work.

  12. "Too big for UPS; going to have to go by truck freight, or else you make some other arrangement to pick it up. Not going to waste my time wrapping it and hauling it 30 miles to a truck freight place just for a quote unless you are prepared to spend more than $250 for the shipping. Been burned by potential buyers too many times after spending hours boxing and taking large items to a shipper for a quote. Pete" "Let's start with your price Native" "Well, I don't know why I spent hours of my time digging mine out, photographing it, posting the photos, driving it 30 miles to the UPS place to get a shipping quote, etc, when these other two guys want you to get a much more common Super fender. Pete" If he didnt want to sell it, dont respond. I have bought and sold parts and cars all over the world. Ive driven 4+ hours for swap meets to set up for one day, its all chalked up to part of the deal. What got me was how he totally conflicted what he was saying.
  13. Helpful or not, I think if you read the thread you can see that my comment is not unwarranted.

You sound like a joy to deal with. Based upon that alone I have ZERO interest in anything that you may have that I may possibly have ever needed or wanted.
  15. Yes, some other cars have had two mounting positions on the seat, this would allow you to relocate the seat further back or forward accordingly based upon owners legs and belly.
