I'm guessing they regretted that model name although I have seen one and it seemed like a nice car.

Saw this logo style at the AACA museum in Hershey but i forgot what era it was on. I'm pretty sure pre-1920 but I can't remember for sure. Can you narrow it down any?

My plan is to be there Friday the 19th, go to Water Street, then meet up in the parking lot of the Neurosurgery Institute at 3PM and cruise over to some restaurant. Saturday back to Water Street or wherever, then down to Pontiac, etc. for Woodward Ave in the afternoon. Any recommendations to go or to avoid? I have a google calendar that has many of my local car shows, etc., and also has all the AACA, ROA and Buick events nationwide that are listed in the AACA magazine, the Riview, the Bugle, and the other magazines and fliers I get. If you want access to it, get a google calendar (all you need is an email address) to log in. Search for Illinois Car Shows and Cruise Nights and you should find it. One that makes sense. I see these youngsters driving junk mobiles with loud mufflers that are supposed to sound like racers, etc. Clown cars. But if you're driving a solid piece of muscle, your exhaust system should sound like it.

Yes, I should have posted a photo, but I have solved it by getting a tap and die set and learning to use it until I was comfortable. So its now solved. Thanks for the tips.

The stalk attaching the right mirror to the door panel is solid but the mirror cowl surrounding the side mirror on the 73 is a little wobbly. Fortunately, no remote wires to worry about The issue seems to be the screw threads on the stalk are a little worn and don't provide enough grip to screw into. Since I don't really need it for driving I was thinking of using some metal hole filler like https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-High-Strength-Small-Hole-Repair-All-in-One-Applicator-Tool-SHR-3-AIO/207108997 My hope would be to create a better surface to screw into while I'm at the shows. Once the shows are over I could find a new mirror assembly (I hope) to replace it. Any better repairs until I can replace the stalk?

Agreed. Who is judging? What do they know? Do they know about your era, your vehicle style? Have they modified cars themselves? From my limited experience with judged and voted (some call them peer judged) events I don't put too much stock in them unless I can actually see what it is they are basing their judging on. I want to see a score sheet/judging rules before and my score sheet after. If I can't do that then the results are meaningless, IMO.
