  1. will except reasonable offers, don't want to have to send it off to china to be made into something else. really would like it to stay in the states. these are 120 inch wheel base, would look really cool as a car!! harold III
  2. have lost my storage, so need to sell the pile of case car parts that I was gathering up to build a speedster. have a '12 40 hp frame with splash shields, springs, front axle, steering column, hood former and front half of the body, gas tank, back half of a later body, have a '14 30 hp frame, motor-trans unit, front axle, gas tank, and miscellaneous sheet metal for 11 thru 14 cars. 5500.00 Harold III Seattle wa.
  3. are you sure that the timing is suppose to be before top dead center? I have only worked on one car that way, a 1911 Franklin, all other cars are ATDC by about 8mm or 1/4 of a inch. I would change the timing to ATC and see what happens then. being you had a explosion out of the carb, that tells me it is sparking before the piston goes over top dead center, than after it is running, then advance to 8mm before top dead center. being you have a kick back...too far advanced at idle. Harold III
  4. bad fuel...too old..had this problem just today trying to start my Bentley. fill the fuel bowl with new gas and see if it starts.
  5. first, where are you located? I am in Seattle and have a very good foundry here that I use for making castings, brass, aluminum, and cast iron and or steel. What parts for your '29 are you looking to cast? door handles? already made by someone. Harold III

  9. well I have been given both water pumps off of a '25 Cadillac too rebuild, that have been totally taken apart, and upon opening them up, I feel that the impellers are in the wrong pump. anybody have a pump apart to verify this? I also would like a picture or two of the pumps installed on a engine so that I may put them back together correctly. i.e. which way does the outlet on the t-stat housing go and what side is the grease tube suppose to be mounted, on the back or front of the upper housing. Thank in advance for all of the reply's. Harold Musolf III Seattle WA.
