  1. Very long text in ad, so check link for the full description. Assuming the wood really is OK, this could be a fair deal. https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/d/clearlake-beautiful-1933-desoto-suicide/7594265862.html Recent work includes: All new brakes including wheel cylinders, shoes, flex lines, master cylinder, wheel seals, rear axle seals, steering components rebuilt. Engine and drive train is all stock except the electrical system changed over to 12 volt negative-ground, the addition of an alternator, and electronic ignition (pertronics that fits under the stock distributor cap, so it looks stock). The oil pan was removed and cleaned out, valves adjusted, good compression on all 6 cylinders, runs and idles wonderfully. The wooden wheels were all stripped down and refinished with linseed oil last year. 5 tires are fairly new and all have 80-90% or better tread. email: c7d9620203103e06ac41166d0b8b409e@sale.craigslist.org
  2. Not much info in the ad, but might be a decent buy.... https://boise.craigslist.org/cto/d/boise-1931-hudson/7592885128.html Running original crank engine no rust all original I am firm on price worth over a hundred grand if restored Call Ken (208) 375-2774
  3. I doubt the disc brakes would be a huge improvement over Rock Mountain. The big braking problem on cars of this vintage is the have a high center of gravity, causing weight to shift to the front, so the locked back wheels are like the old heavy weight coaster brake bicycle you had as a kid. Big long skid without rapid deceleration. That said, I have many hours in a '25 Chevy and if you aren't going fast and watch it, rear brakes are OK.
  4. Beautiful! So nice to see a Woodie without a surf board on top.

  9. I love the interior on these. I don't know about the price given the condition. More pics in ad https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/d/santa-barbara-1941-chrysler-highlander/7593648541.html Older restoration leaning into #2 quality. It's been garaged for about 10 years since last drive around town. We've started it up on occasion regularly just to idle. It takes a little coaxing to get that first start going. Prior to storage, the car drove around town as pleasant as can be (have not tested on freeway or long distance drives). Transmission is a clutch with the "Fluid Drive". Many and all things gone through when restored years ago; engine rebuilt, transmission serviced, brakes done, fuel system rebuilt, gas tank brand new, electrical rewired, chrome re-chromed years ago, EVERYTHING done so the previous owner could enjoy a nice drive. (Except the radio, that's in place but never tested or serviced.)There's light age showing. Minor chips in paint from normal use; some peeling in chrome here and there on bumpers hard to see; car presents itself well. Current as of today drive state largely untested; drove when last garaged. All above resto work done, then car was parked. There's light age showing. 17. I learned to drive in one very similar. That 3 on the tree always confused me. Was 1st up or down? I remember pulling up to a stop sign on a slight hill. My father said "now because we're on a slope, give it extra gas and let the clutch out faster". You know what happened next! Bam! Into the car behind. Fortunately, cars had real bumpers back then. The guy behind got out, looked at the front of his car briefly, and not seeing any damage, stuck his whole head in my window. "Do you know how to drive?!!". My father (in the passenger seat) said "Heck NO!" and we went on our way....
  18. I do remember Knight Rider, perhaps this is where they got the idea for KITT
