  1. Those are very different numbers than I found...I have to think that when we're talking T-birds, YOU are the man Lew!
  2. Yes! this a really good deal on a really good car! If it were closer and I had space I'd be after it! Phone: I only respond with a phone call 8two8 69one 877nine All steel body no rust wood is good
  3. Got me to checking so I looked it up...few Corvettes and many more T birds were sold in the early years but by '57 they were pretty equal. Interestingly, the Ford sold ten times as many '61 T-birds as 57s.
  4. What you can see looks OK for the money...Was it originally green? (more not very good pics in ad) https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/d/chula-vista-1955-thunderbird/7766508526.html Runs and drives. Very original automatic one owner I have original title pink slip in hand. Was parked in doors on stands for 30 years I upgraded few things n it runs well. Please call or txt for showing. No dreamers. Reasonable price. No offers over phone. (619. )245 7267.
  5. Another "seldom seen" it could be a useful driver, just needs new door cards! ....(more pics in ad) https://slo.craigslist.org/cto/d/atascadero-1931-chevrolet-independence/7765953781.html I have a 1931 Chevrolet Independence 1/2 ton truck for sale. The truck runs and drives fine. The truck is all original. It is all metal and has no rust issues. It has new tires, radiator, exhaust, and new wood in the bed. It is currently registered and with a clean title. I am asking $18,500.00 dollars for it. If you have any questions give me a call at 805-466-7819. Thanks, John
  6. $78K seems very unlikely on face book. They need to send it to AZ next February.
  7. Seems a fair price (depending of what's not shown) They could have moved the floor jack before they took the picture!
  8. It does have possibilities...I hope it can avoid the V8 engine swap....
  9. It sure makes a statement! Makes me think of that old Roger Miller song "I see you drivin' down the street in your big Cadillac. You've got girls in the front and girls in the back. Way in the back you've got money in a sack...both hands on the wheel and your shoulders right back"
  10. Great car, and possibly deserving of the title Super Mini Limo. Too bad about the upholstery choice. I could live with the alternator (but I wouldn't like it)
  11. It is great to see these often overlooked cars preserved. Of all the model names GM came up with in this period, I always thought "Parisienne" was the most...I can't come up with a strong enough word. I have this mental picture of this car trying to thread its way down Boulevard St. Germain, as taxis and bicycles continually cut it off.
  12. Hudson chassis and running gear. Brough designed coachwork by W.C Atcherley of Birmingham. Steel guards, aluminum body over ash frame coachwork. (many more pics in ad...they didn't copy for me!) https://www.stolzeclassiccars.nl/aanbod/7116/brough-superior-rhd-hudson/ This 1937 Brough Superior with 6 cyl 3.5 liter engine and 100 HP. This is really rare and exceptionally beautiful. The paint is ok but not perfect. But the interior, chassis, bottom and mechanicals are all in good condition. Driving well with a completely overhauled original engine. Only 80 of this model were made. Completely complete and completely original. The complete history from the first owner in 1937 until now is also included. Comes with Dutch license plate, ready for use. In addition to this car, we have many parts for sale. Ranging from stripping to a complete engine. For more information you can call, email or visit us.
  13. I think it says something that they are open to trades but "no projects"! Silly price, more pics in ad. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/reno-1953-cadillac-series-62-coupe/7765638369.html Lowered and shaved, very solid body. Factory AC car with most if not all of the parts to reinstall AC. Original 331/dynaflow, not running but should. The dash was customized but includes an original dash. All exterior trim is on the car. Interior is original except the front seat which might be out of a 54. Possible trades for other Cadillacs, no projects, or 4 seat CanAm, skid steer, or??? Cash talks and is preferred email: 8942a965dc963384853c7724f14364f8@sale.craigslist.org
  14. Looks like a nice driver.... I wonder if J.C. Whitney still sells seat covers...(more pics in ad) https://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/cto/d/watsonville-1951-chevrolet-styleline/7765841574.html 51 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. Runs good, 235 straight six, 3 spd. manual on the column, was originally a Power Glide car. Mostly original, and a solid survivor. Paint has a great patina, although the passenger side has had some body work done at sometime in its life. The car is lowered a bit on some radial white walls. The stainless trim is in great condition. The car is believed to be an original low mileage car, although the odometer is broken, the car had come out west with only 20K miles on it. There is some rust on the bottom of the drivers door, but otherwise body panels seem pretty solid. Also the right turn/ brake light does not work, may be a wire. I have had the car 9 years and it has been a good cruiser. Current reg. pink in hand. Restore and or drive as is. Please leave a phone number in your reply, thanks for looking. email: 7c5c8098bf7d3d2db1ee262eb518bef4@sale.craigslist.org
  15. I wish it were a more subdued color, but it's pretty neat anyway! (also needs more pictures!) https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/d/issaquah-1936-chevrolet-coupe-pickup/7765017698.html 1936 Chevrolet Coupe Pickup A rare car, only 3100 produced. Restored to original condition. Rebuilt and balanced engine. email: c51466b85e123b69906b7f4cd28ac6b3@sale.craigslist.org
  16. Not much chance of this being restored....sadly if it's doesn't become scrap metal, it may be parts for some hot rod. https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/d/rainier-1929-willys-knight-model-56/7764630975.html Fresh from estate, 1929 willys knight model 56. Carsrunning gear all there, comes with extra motor, trans, front end and rear end. Appears most top parts are there. Bill of sale, no title first $3950 must go (360) 431-3795
  17. Two different prices in the ad...Seems like a lot more car for Model A money! Unfortunate color choices and really bad pictures! I wonder what the interior looks like? https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/redmond-1928-chrysler-model-72-restored/7765608041.html# This model was a step up from their standard base model Chrysler, offering a longer wheelbase, larger 6cyl. motor, larger headlamps, and more luxurious seating room in back similar to formal sedans. It has been correctly restored, and is ready for competitive shows. May or may not be a 95+% point winner in a concourse circuit. The excellent two-tone paint was a Chrysler attention getter. The correct wood spoke wheels are amazing. They are painted too. It has a luxury vinyl top; beautifully engraved Chrysler dash. Small details inside (switches, grab ropes accessories) are preserved. Down to the bias ply tires, nuts/bolts/wood-spoke wheels/alum. caps/6 volt system, this vehicle will entertain. I have a clean Oregon title in hand. It has been stored for 8 years, so it needs a refreshing of the brakes, fuel, miscellaneous, to put on the road again if one desires to drive and experience it more. It should not disappoint with a little care. $16,900 - you would be hard pressed beating this price if you had to go out and restore one of the same quality. Call John to apply to see, 541-923-7386.
  18. Reality begins to set in....I do like the car https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/shady-cove-1941-cadillac-series-61/7763153991.html Priced at $35.000.00 or Best Offer. Contact Steve at 510-375-770
  19. Just parts really, but this week I visited my nephew's new employer, who buys vehicles like this and does a very high end retro-mod and sells them for $200K. Apparently there is a market for this, although I'd doubt you'd use it to haul much. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/antioch-1949-chevy-window/7765567690.html https://kindredmotorworks.com/models/kindred-chevy-3100/city-cruiser No motor or seat, solid parts. Bill of sale
  20. Something a little different and a great way to justify a trip! (more text in ad) https://www.prewarcar.com/580014-ultra-rare-rhd-1937-cadillac-coupe This car is an extremely rare factory RHD 1937 Cadillac 60 Club Coupe, which was produced in Detroit. Only 55 RHD’s were exported out of the 7,003 series 60’s produced that year. This is a solid, well looked after example and the workshop and body manuals are to hand.
  21. I remember looking at a very similar car for $1200 about 1978. I was put off by a crack in the aluminum body. Some $1200 cars from that period are worth a lot today, but obviously not this one.
  22. All true, but the market's appreciation of un-restored cars is far greater now than it was then. (Partially because so many received poor "restorations" back then).
  23. '32s are their own world, so perhaps this price is correct. For sure, they don't come up often. (much more in ad) I will say there are a lot of neat cars in this price range.... https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/novato-1932-ford-window/7765361896.html I very recently purchased this very attractive car with the intention of keeping same for my pleasure but other pressing projects have taken priority thus giving some fortunate person a chance to own this jewel. I will now quote the party from whom I purchased. "Manufactured July 1932. Been in family since January 1936, 51231 original miles, used as a commuter 1936-1953. Stored from 1954 to 2013.Original engine rebuilt, meets all Ford specs, no wear. Engine 65 hp, 221 cu. in. 21 stud V-8. (415) 897-8500
