  1. It's located in Northern Colorado,I may get the guy traded out of it. Hoping someone someone has an idea what it's out of. That brake rod behind it is kind of odd. Straight end axle shafts with keyway. Thanks for any help.
  2. The light you have pictured is really nice in most ways. The lenses look good, not all scratched up,the rim and body are not dented and dimpled.reflective material inside looks perfect, the nut hasn't been pipewrenched, and so forth. Your pair could be an upgrade for someone looking for better lamps than they have. If I didn't already have a half dozen of them I would probably be making you an offer.
  3. Good eye,I think you're right.
  4. It could also be an inside closed car visor bracket that mounted on the header.
  5. The radiator shell is 26-28 Pontiac. The pattern on the top of the cowl appears to match the top of the shell. The lines on the body don't match any Pontiacs in pictures of them in my books. I may have a hood for one of these if anyone needs one.
  6. If you don't want those wheels to set around for the next two or three years starring at you consider this-FedEx office has good, heavy 24x24x24 boxes for sale and they will pack. They can cut the top off one,the bottom off the other, shove the top one over the bottom one, stack the wheels in there with the flaps cut off between the wheels and some of their paper packing around them, push the top box down to fit, tape it all up and ship. The hard part will be to drive over there and carry them in. If a buyer wants them bad enough to make it worth your while, have them move on.
  7. That piece usually if not always came with a full face cover and locking hubcap in the center. It was a nice looking setup.
  8. If you spelled "Packard" correctly in your title,it might help in a search.
  9. Looks like in the 1949-51 era Studebaker.
  10. I think those frame ends say Chrysler.
  11. Bought this out of an estate. Many years outdoor storage. Steering and shift lever are stuck. Pretty complete engine except for the carb. Doesn't turn over with the fan,did put penetrating oil in the cylinders. There is a small tree growing up beside the emergency brake drum so it wouldn't roll,we unbolted the back of the driveshaft to load it. No body at all, radiator doesn't look too bad. These wheels are 18",not original, and sure a lot better looking than the 20" originals. I do have two loose ones that may be originals. I don't know how anyone would drive this thing if it did get finished with everything so high up in the air. There is a tag on the engine from a Denver engine exchange, probably over the original engine number, with a number. The rear springs were cut off and the back part of the shortened frame is sitting on a piece of 2x2 square tubing, not fastened or welded.Tires may be good enough for rollers, some look like they were recapped and hardly used. Like to get $1250 out of the thing and it will need to be picked up. Not too interested in parting it out.
  12. This pair came with a joblot of stuff I bought awhile back and it's time they moved on to someone that can use then. The left doesn't look like it was ever mounted, still has the tag wire, paint on the under side looks original and no bolt or washer tracks around any of the mounting holes. There are a couple welding beads on top where the irons would have attached. The eyebrow looks like it got bumped, otherwise very straight with some surface rust. The right has some edge cracks, surface rust, maybe a bit of minor pitting but very straight,no major rustout. I've had expert advice that they are 1915. I don't have any of the mounting brackets. Like to get $395 for the pair, boxing and Fedex to lower Continental 48 included. Check or paypal is fine.
