    Cadillac

They look like 1931 V-8. Are the headlight rims 12" in diameter?
  4. Those pictures will do. If we make down to the Tri-state swapmeet in Denver this weekend I'll keep an eye out. It's been beautiful here in Cheyenne this week but a snowstorm is coming, will be here and Denver,Friday,Saturday and Sunday, the three days of the meet.
  5. So you want just like you have only longer,is that sort of the plan? Sometimes us old folks need four pictures and 379 words.
  6. That Countrygirl figuratively pulled a big old bus out there on her property and a bunch of us got on for the trip about that unidentified chassis. What a swell ride it was. After all that, hopefully,it will go,or has gone, somewhere where it will be saved and appreciated. Thanks Countrygirl for not just hauling it off to the scrapyard. You may be elevated,we may have to call you Country Lady here on out!
  7. Cadillac never made a 2 cylinder car.
  8. The number looks like 1GB4006C 1-I May also be 1GRA006C 1-1 It's not real clear. It looks like it may have been bolted in but the rotor and contacts in the cap don't look like they have ever had a spark. Looks like it mounted on the end of a generator. I don't see any numbers on the cap. The body is about 2 1/2" in diameter. Appreciate any help.
  9. That really is a neat old piece with the engine attached to it's own firetube boiler. I hope they keep us informed of the progess they make on it's origin and use.
  10. Has anyone used the cement that has fiberglass fibers in it? I'm getting ready to pour a shop floor and have that option that is supposed to be better support for a lift. One concern is hairs sticking out of the cement that get broken off, then go airborn as you sweep or move around. I inhaled enough welding smoke, vaporized acidic solder flux, asbestos and anything the refinery put out in the plumbing and pipefitting trade for 50 plus years.
  11. I have this hood. Looks like it matches your car pretty well in color. The one top panel will need some straightening.$225 plus shipping
  12. I think there was a guy looking for some of these over in the Wanted section a month or two ago.
  13. I looked in my book 1904 automobiles for a body like the one sitting in the background page by page with no matches. Then it hit me,that body looks close to 1903 Cadillac and Ford, both with midship engines, and I don't see any way that chassis would work under that body. So is that not the body intended for that chassis and do you have the body for it?
  14. Here are some pics of the hood side and top. Very straight, but that one handle has a curve in the end. They appear to be aluminum, not diecast so it would probably straighten up. I didn't see a lock that came anywhere near the same. I ship FedEx but all of them are getting expensive on these large items,I'm guessing close to a hundred bucks unless you are very close to SE Wyoming. Holler if interested.
  15. There were three different series of Nash's in '27,lite 6,Special 6 and Advanced 6,if you put your model in it would probably help get the right book.
  16. Turtle deck probably for an early roadster, maybe coupe.
  17. Thankyou Sir,That's definitely a hit.
  18. Has 4344 cast into it. Big open end is 2 9/16" ,big hex 2 3/4",small hex 1 1/4",small open end 1 7/8". Overall 12" long. I'd like to say Buick but really have no idea. Appreciate any help.
  19. I have a top and side panel for 34 PE,in other words,,half a hood. Can't say which side it is right now. The doors do have the handles, pretty good shape as I recall. I would sell the whole thing, not just the handles. It's a pretty good, straight one,no serious rust issues, but does have a large caliber bullet hole through both panels. Would take $175 plus shipping,if interested I'll dig it out and take some pictures. You would most likely have more contact with 34 people than I and could probably resell or trade the extra stuff. I also have some unidentified door handles and locks,if you send me a picture of the left one you have I'll look.
