  1. The bar kind of has that GM look, headlights measure 11 1/4" across. Oakland was my best guess, appreciate any help.
  2. Keiser ran a pic of a '15 complete car on my other post and it looks identical along with the few body parts I have. There was a 25" clincher rim and felloe band some distance away along with another spring, presumably from the same car rear axle, picture added. I think I have a fender or two in my own pile that will be added to all this and put on the Parts For Sale section maybe next week. Holler if anyone has interest now. Thanks for all your help.
  3. Thanks Keiser for coming up with the real deal. So my stuff must be '15 or later depending on if they ran the same look for more than just one year. I'm adding a picture of the fan bracket,it must be related to the rest of it. It has something that looks like BUHO cast into it.
  4. It looks like 55 or 56 Ford but with the 6's in the part number, that may be the year. It also almost looks like convertible. Appreciate any help.
  5. Picked this up off an old ranch. It may be related to some unknown sheetmetal on another post. The one wheel appeared to be 25",springs are 1 1/2" wide. I don't remember seeing hubcaps like that on anything, may be a commercial car of some kind. Appreciate any help.
  6. These were all piled in an old horse trailer with Model T fenders on a ranch. Maybe Metz? Appreciate any help.
  7. There is a piece of tape on the left front door that says " 1920 Willys Knight" .
  8. I agree it's Cadillac but would lean more to a 1922-23 model unless the picture was taken 1920 or earlier.
  9. There are a couple Franklin wood frames and axles in this area, not that I'm probably going to build one but what are you asking for the engine?
  10. Layden,That looks like a Goodyear lockring to me,what do you think?
  11. When I first saw the picture I thought it was a Gibson tractor made in Longmont Colorado but it's not quite the same as any pictured in the tractor book. So until it's proven otherwise,it's Grandfather's creation.
  12. My compliments to your grandfather anyway, that's quite a machine he put together. Looks like a narrowed Ford rear axle with chain drive, shortened steering column that looks professionally done, yup, quite a machine.
  13. I wonder if it might be a gauge to synchronize carbs on a dual carb system such as the V-12 and V-16 Cadillacs. I know there are gauges to do that because it needs to be done.
  14. WG is Warner Gear,I can't recall any association with Ford but maybe there was.
  15. One of the authors of that top book looks like C B Glasscock, how would you like to go through school with that name?
  16. There is a guy back East named Dave(?) Jordan that would be a candidate for the larger one. A few years ago I sent him a wire wheel and a Jordan script gas gauge. If I can find his info I'll PM it to you.
  17. I can't see the ends but it looks pretty close to the same critter.
  18. I have lost track where these even came from but would like to get them identified. The channels on the right are 25" long, narrow pair 21 1/4" long, that stainless channel is 30 1/2" long. Appreciate any help.
  19. I believe it's from one of those cars that had the headlights mounted high up. The bar is 41 1/2" long including the brackets. The outside fork comes off the bracket, the inside fork is 7 1/2" long, spread is 9 1/4,mounting holes are about 2 1/2" apart on center. The only two I can think of are Hupp and Paige, anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
  20. I thought if the picture was taken in Nov or Dec it could be either year but I see now it was taken in June so that pretty much limits it to a 1925.
