  1. 1966 CHRYSLER 300 Convertible - $8500 - St. Johnsbury, VT - Still available, priced reduced to $8,400, June 2021: see new link below. https://vermont.craigslist.org/cto/d/saint-johnsbury-1966-chrysler-300/7170335751.html 1966 Chrysler 300 convertible in very good condition. 87,000 miles. Body is very good with very little rust. The underside is excellent, with no rust or rot and has been fluid-filmed. Interior is in very good to excellent condition (one small seam split in driver's seat). The convertible top is in very good condition. Nice fender skirts. It originally had a 383 motor, was replaced with a low mileage 440, with a new Edelbrock carburetor. All mechanical systems (including suspension) were professionally redone. New tires. Dual exhaust to new mufflers, awaiting your completion for preference of tailpipe location. Why only $8500 when the NADA low book value is higher? I own two other convertibles that I don't drive enough. The windshield was scratched and should be replaced, (replacement provided), the top rear window should be replaced (new one provided) and the rear bumper was replaced previously but the welds look ugly underneath the car but do not affect the looks on the car. The car could use a repaint, but very serviceable. You do the work, you save big bucks! Runs and drives with full power. Can be driven home! Cash only. Calls only, no text, trades, and no stories. $8500. 2. I wondered why no interior photos too, always helps to sell a car if the interior is good. Would a two-tone would help make the French vanilla ice cream color pop, a cordovan top perhaps?

  11. Thanks for including us in this discovery, it was fun! Glad you've got it, can't wait to see more of the details as the experience unfolds. Interesting car, certain rare, even when new. Small wonder White decided to concentrate on trucks thereafter considering what other choices were available to the fellow with $4,600 for a new car: Pretty heady competition. 12. 1962 Rambler American Convertible - $2900 - South Windsor, CT https://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/d/south-windsor-1962-rambler-american/7169659905.html Currently registered and on the road. Mechanically sound and has a solid body, needs cosmetics (paint and interior). 196 OHV inline 6 with automatic transmission.Car has about 85000 miles but many of the worn parts have been swapped from a low mileage (35000) 63 convertible that had very bad front end structural rust. The parts swapped from the 63 include the engine and transmission, all window regulators, top assembly and more. Now pretty much everything on the car operates smoothly as it should. Also have but not installed all missing trim, a complete decent interior from the 63 including a really nice dash pad, and bins of miscellaneous. extras. I still have the 63 body with doors, hood, fenders, etc. I also have a spare engine. Buyer can take as much or as little of the 63 parts car as wanted. Fun summer cruiser. Asking $2900 or b/o. Please put "convertible" in your response so I know you're not a scammer. Also if the car is still posted it's still available so no need to ask. Thanks! 14. Elegant proportions on this Rolls-Royce Brewster Marlborough town car, though a tad overboard on the cane-work...
  15. A local fellow specializes in 900 convertibles with five speed transmissions, some of which he assembles. Has a ready market for all those he has or builds. Everything becomes collectible to someone.
  16. That gray cloth '60 looks like broadcloth but it has a heavier texture so probably is the jacquard they used in 1960. Is it the same as what is in your Hess and Eisenhardt limousines, perhaps the 1960 pattern and material?
  17. Yes, essentially, completely the fabric in this Capri, gray. It might have been set up specifically for livery ordered cars.
  18. I have seen an all-fabric '58 Lincoln Capri sedan in a junkyard here in the east in the mid-'80's. Black exterior, gray interior, certainly a funeral home livery limousine. Rough shape at the time and long gone now as is the yard it was in.
  19. In addition to the funeral home/livery 'town-car' market, these base model luxury cars from Cadillac, Lincoln and Imperial were bought by Depression era survivors who were finally prosperous enough to afford a luxury car but felt still constrained by their life-long frugality, These types of base luxury cars were great travel-trailer tow cars, would show up at the campground in the Colorado mountains I worked at while in college in the 1970's. Cadillac 62.Calais, Lincoln Capri, Imperial Custom, crank windows, no power options, but an Airstream or large trailer on the hitch. Those from the southern Midwest did have air conditioning, the one comfort/convenience option they would allow themselves. Personally, when I first became aware of Lincolns in the late 1950's as a car-crazed 8 year old in 1960, visits to Arkport Motrors Lincoln-Mercury, Arkport, NY were always a necessary stop for me to drool over the Lincolns they had. In my adolescent mind, true luxury cars had power windows and power seat, unlike our plain-jane '54 Ford. Imagine my disappointment when I first encountered a '58 Lincoln Capri with crank-windows! They became forever known as 'Crank-window Capris' to me...like this '58!
  20. Hupmobile, their "H" had that unique font.
  21. 1929 Graham-Paige 612 Sedan - $19500 - Nampa, ID https://boise.craigslist.org/cto/d/nampa-1929-graham-paige-612-sedan/7169382446.html This Graham Paige was purchased in 1962 from the original owner. It appears to have been repainted about 20-25 years ago. It has always been stored inside a shop, but paint has some bird poo stains that may be able to be polished out. This car is 91 years old and was very advanced in features compared to Ford Sedans and others of the same vintage (read below). Quite advanced! The owner of this car passed away and willed this to his daughter in 2017. She has decided to sell it. It comes with a free and clear Idaho title. Will assist with transport loading. It goes on eBay on Friday night. See and make offer!Between 2012-2013 the owner installed a brand-new black leather interior ($5,300), had over $3,000 worth of mechanical upgrades and repairs completed, spent $1,800 on new correct style WW tires and $1,300 on re-plating the bumpers and trim. Total of $11,564.38. Can email PDF of these receipts. Overall, the body is very straight, no visible rust. I would say the flaws in the paint make it a 20-footer. It runs and drives well. The engine compartment was not detailed and the engine has not been rebuilt, due to low mileage and good running condition. It was a cosmetic restoration with many mechanical upgrades to stock specs. This is not a 100-point show car. It was used by the owner’s family in local parades and weekend outings. It is a very nice car for similar use. Comfortable with 5-6 passengers, depending on size. 22. 1954 King Midget Series 2 - $2500 - Bethlehem, CT https://nwct.craigslist.org/cto/d/bethlehem-1954-king-midget/7167976722.html Offered for sale is this 1954 King Midget Series 2. These were built in Athens Ohio roughly from 1948 to 1968. There were 3 series and this is the second. I’ve seen these registered for road use. There is an International King Midget Club that hosts gatherings of these fun little cars and is a source of information and parts. I disassembled this many years ago to restore it, had the panels stripped and then the project stalled. I recently lost it’s storage area and decided to assemble and sell . Right now this Midget starts, steers, shifts, brakes, all the lights work as does the charging system. I have a non working radio, and wooden doors that are included. This would make a great restoration project for someone or it could be enjoyed as is. I do not have the “grill” but a reproduction is available. Key words rat rod, patina, convertible No texts Contact: Please call Don (203) 9-8-two-six-8-9-three. Copy and paste in your email: I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1954 King Midget Series 2.
