  1. Yes, the manual is still available. I will send you a PM. Terry
  2. One local show I like has antique hit and miss engines running and making things like wooden house shingles while another is making ice cream. It's fun to watch and the kids like it. Terry
  3. How about parking spots near the flea market area for vans with wheelchair raps like mine? I'm a paraplegic with a non motorized wheelchair and need a parking space that has enough space to deploy the ramp. I have not been to Hershey since I became disabled so I'm not familiar with its handicap parking setup. Terry
  4. That sure sounds right for the description. I don't recall seeing them but then again there we not too many Tbirds around my home town. I do recall a person who had a really nice 1962 Tbird convertible. He had no trouble getting the attention of the ladies with that ride. I did notice the Tbird disappeared after he got married! Terry
  5. Roy, I looked in all the books I have with no luck. My Delco book is 1959 and no numbers like yours show up. The numbers might be industrial or non automotive? Terry
  6. I have a tire ashtray for U S Royal tires that seems to be 60's vintage. It has both a redline and whitewall on it. I was wondering if this combo of redline and whitewall was ever used on autos from the factory and if yes, by whom? Thanks, Terry
  7. Great thread! I had a 1951 chieftain as my first car so your pictures bring back lots of memories. Terry
  8. Yes I still have the pin, and yes I have decided to sell it. As for the price I am asking $70 for it. Send me a Personal Message if you are interested in it. Terry Boyer Lititz PA 17543
  9. As said before the spindles are the same for 34 and 35 as listed in Hollander. My pre war NAPA catalog shows Monmouth kit A-127 should be what you need for kingpins and bushings. Now that was the part number in 1943. I looked at several other cars in the catalog to see if the A-127 number showed up on any other make, like Packard, gm, mopar and so on but I didn't find it used anywhere else so that is not good news. A 1940's King Products catalog shows the kingpins to be K-1140. That number seems to be for years 1934-35 only. Not looking good for an easy fix. Terry
  10. Here are photos. I think its a 1929. Inside is marked The Stant Company, Connersville IND. There is a number C-2629. It has the look and wear of an original cap. If it is not 1929 maybe someone can identify the year. Terry
  11. Yes. I have an original with good wings I was going to sell sometime. Send me a personal message if you are interested. I am located in PA, east of Hershey. Terry
  12. All of the ones I have seen were in boxes labeled Lynx Eye at the top of the box and the car brand on the bottom. Never have seen one from any auto company. Terry
  13. You could list them here in the buy sell area. With over 6000 views on this thread you have made a lot of contacts that may want to buy these items, and listing them is free! Terry
  14. Hello Phil, this item is still available. I will send you a Personal Message (PM) from this site regarding payment options. Terry
  15. So the auctioneer has updated his ad in our local Farming News paper. He has added this information: 1924 Ford Model T touring Car Fully restored. Moldel A Rumble Seat- Needs restored. I did not see them in the pictures provided. As for the Packards it says: 2- 1956 4 doors 1934 2 door sedan 1935 Packard roadster Old Packard touring?? A very poor listing on the AuctionZip website for this acution. Not sure I would ever want him to do my auction. There is a facebook page too for him called Hunter SaleBarn that may have more info. Terry
  16. On this site selling is a LOT less of a hassle and I appreciate all those who have taken the time to buy items from me as I continue to downsize my collection ( and resist the temptation to buy more with the proceeds!). Terry
  17. Hello Dan, The posting rules on this forum request you include a price and location for ads like yours. Sounds like an interesting auto. A picture would be helpful too. Terry
  18. No one is perfect. Nice car. I always hoped I would own a red one with a white top. A 1:18 scale version was as close as my bank account would allow. Good luck with the sale!
  19. When I sold my 37 Dodge Pick up it was running and driving but far from restored. I did not want it to go to a street rod person but when you sell it you have no control. I did find a buyer that was in to Dodge trucks and not street rod. He came with a really nice 1955 Dodge dump body truck and trailer to take it home. It was nice to see that outcome. Be who knows, that was 5 years ago and maybe now it is a rod. Just have to enjoy the memories you had with it and go on. Terry
  20. Thanks for the response on the mileage. It is a neat car at a good price. Terry
  21. Found this sale advertised in a local publication. Lots of farm stuff and JD tractors and 5 Packard cars and parts including at least two very old cars. The black 30's car looks very interesting. The auction company seems to be more focused on the farm items than the cars. Sale is July 19th in Nottingham PA, near the PA border with MD. Note- I have no connection to the sale, just passing on information. http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/photopanel.cgi?listingid=2154709&category=0&zip=&kwd= Terry
