HELP, My 1931 Hupmobile went missing from my garage
TerryB replied to huptoy's topic in General Discussion
I enjoyed the story about your car and I agree that it's time for the snow to go. A few months ago I susbscribed to Hemmings Classic Cars when they ran a low priced subscription offer. Their mix of old and newer cars is enjoyable to read. Terry -
Hi Richard, yes the same guy that sold you the glove box emblem for your Chrysler. I have an Auto-Lite catalog from 1951 that lists all the electrical components back to 1938 and I have the shop manual supplement for 1939 Chryslers. If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know. Did you ever make your trip to the US?? Terry

Have two more parts catalogues for 1949-51 Lincoln / Cosmopolitan autos. One is the chassis parts book for all 1949-51 Lincoln and Cosmopolitan models. The other is the body parts catalogue for 1950 Lincoln and Cosmopolitan autos. Both books are in great shape with good bindings and clean pages. Asking $30 each plus $6 for domestic shipping in the USA via USPS media mail. Paypal, personal checks, and money orders are accepted for payment. Please send me a PM if interested or for more information. Thanks, Terry Boyer Lititz PA 17543

A BIG book of parts information covering all 1965-68 Lincoln and Mercury models. The binder for the book is a heavy duty factory cover that has mechanical release to add or remove pages. The first section covers the part numbers for all Ford and Mercury factory high performance parts from the early 1960s to 1968 including Cobra numbers. The rest of the book has hundreds of pages of part number data and is loaded with illustrations. The book weights at least 6 pounds. I am asking $50 plus domestic shipping which I estimate at $12 for USPS media mail rate with tracking number. Personal check, money orders and Paypal accepted for payment. Please PM me if interested or if you would like more information. Thanks! Terry Boyer Lititz PA 17543

Jim, hope all goes well for you. I did the ACA this year, in January, and it went great. Joined on line as PA has no state run site. Took longer than I expected as I had 22 plans to choose from. Its nice to have choices!! Terry

John Bevins, you are incredible. I can say this with authority as I became a paraplegic and amputee of my entire right leg not quite 2 years ago when an SUV ran into the motorcycle I was riding. I was 60 when the accident happened. I keep hearing you can do anything if you adapt to your situation. Driving a standard shift old car I figured was never going to happen again, much less ever ride a motorcycle (after 40 years of riding). Thank you for your posting. I'm not sure I will ever be able to do what you are doing but I do feel a lot more inspired. Thanks also to the others who posted here with their stories. Terry

It is sad to hear of the passing of Leon. I met him many times at both public sales where auto parts were being sold and at the auto meets Henry mentioned above. He and his wife were a fixture at these event, selling really nice parts at reasonable prices. He will be missed in the MoPar community. Terry
