  1. Few more photos. Charles Dureya comments on auto design and says the tiller is a better choice that a steering wheel for lightweight cars.
  2. Nice original 1961 Mercury Meteor sales brochure. Measures 8" x 8" and contains 24 pages. Back page has dealer stamp for Garber Motors Elizabethtown PA on it. Asking $10 plus $3 postage in the US. Personal check, money order and paypal accepted. Thanks, Terry Boyer Lititz PA 17543
  3. Bought an old auto magazine recently at an antique shop. The price was reduced because the back cover was missing. Has a cute girl ( for 1922) on the cover. Getting it home and opening it up I found the content of the magazine sure did not look like 1922. Turns out its really from December 1910. That's even better!! Some more photos: Check out the ad for the Brush automobile. Two boys, the Abernathy brothers, drove a Brush auto from NY to OK. And they were only 9 and 7 years old!! Try that stunt today. There are more ads in this magazine for tires than most anything else. Tires must have been the weak point of traveling in 1910. Enjoy! Terry
  4. I have never owned a Nash but I did like them, except for the bathtub Nashes. When I was getting close to driving age my dad was looking at a bathtub Nash. I told him I would never be caught driving it if he did buy it (not that it would have mattered to him!). He bought a Buick instead and I was saved!! Terry

I did tune in. The Packard was a 1934 coupe, not a 1939. I have mixed reviews of this show after watching 3 or 4 episodes. Nice to see what they find but I don't always agree with the price negotiation outcome. I was glad to see the yellow and black 1956 Plymouth was restored and kept in one of the programs. The negotiations for the Michelin porcelain tire signs seemed like the price paid was way unfair to the seller. Terry

  8. Graham Hollywood, about 1940 is my guess. Terry
  9. Received your PM and replied to you. Terry
  10. Thank you all for the information provided. I suppose Buick could have made some pins from the actual grill emblem for use by the salesmen. Next decision is to keep or sell. Terry
  11. Came across this Buick 8 pinback button in a box of stuff I inherited. I'm a MoPar guy so my knowedge of Buick items is limited. I believe its an original dealer lapel pinback button. It measures about 1 1/4" in diameter. Has anyone seen it before and what year(s) does it represent? The design seems like mid 1930's to me. Thanks for your inputs, Terry
  12. Clear tape is on the inside spine of the cover. One of the pieces is visible on the second photo at the top of the page. Second piece of tape is on the bottom of the page and is smaller. Terry
  13. If its coming from a foreign country then $71 shipping is not too hard to believe. I shipped a book recently to Canada from PA that weighed less than four pounds and the shipping cost for it was $22 USD. That was using first class mail. Priority mail would have been $33. Terry
  14. I purchased it for many years and enjoyed the cars and other information featured in it. Good luck to them as it would be great to have them back in this digital age. I still like holding and reading a magazine instead of an e-reader. Terry in PA
