  1. I would LOVE to put this one on the road. I would stuff a 354 Hemi in it. This would be so cool next to our 34 Red Cross truck. I shared it to my Facebook Dodge City page.

  3. Had a customer powder coat a 36 Dodge grill and it destroyed the grill because of heat and the grill being made from pot metal. Has anybody else have this problem?
  4. The drums you show, are they separated from the hub? Take a picture of the axle. Something is not correct. I do not think that these are 1942 drums. The rears are a one part combo with the same as the fronts. This looks to be a 60s or newer drum. Pictured is a rear brake drum for 1939 to 1942 Dodge car.
  5. WOW!! Dad just got done painting a 54 Lincoln and lettered for a race in Joplin MO. and he parked out front of the house for the paint to dry and WHAM!! 2 houses down the street. This was in 57.
  6. That is why I had LOL!! We had a 62 Vette in 65 with a turbo 400 and was doing a 6000 neutral slam and they made us leave the track. The car was running low 11s with all GM parts except for cam and headers. Mopar hated us back then.
  7. Love all the post. And the remark that these trans never had problems? About 20 cars that went through my hands, half of them had been out of the car and half of that were rebuilt is my guess because the units were painted a different color. That is what we did when we rebuilt units when I was in that business. NOW!! Lets take a test.

  9. Looks like the car we are parting out. That steering wheel is big!!
  10. Dad was in this 1961 program. He worked on the car. It had one of the 1st 409s produced and beat a lot of records back then. 1956 Jerry Unser, Jr. Chevrolet 16:08.000 DR 1957 Jerry Unser, Jr. Ford 15:39.200 DR 1958 Nick Sanborn Jr. Pontiac 15:49.700 1959 Nick Sanborn Jr. Pontiac 15:45.200 1960 Louie J. 11. 354 was only in the 56-57 Mopars-Modified?
  12. When I was hauling cars, I picked up a restored 51 Mopar with a Hemi and it did not have enough power to go up on my upper deck. I had to put it on the lower deck. I remember that it was a Hemi when we open the hood. It was a beautiful car. It was a black convertible. That is why I was putting it on the upper deck because it being a convertible.
  13. My dad was a professional roundy round racer back then. He was driving Lincolns in 53 and 54 that was a constant winner.
