  1. I love my tapa talk. I use it every day on my I phone. No problems
  2. Your hudson manifold is very fixable. Make sure it's done by a pro. It must be clamped to s strong strait edge to maintain it's trueness to the head. After it's wielded, get it surfaced planed at a machine shop. Is it broken in the center where the heat riser bolts on?
  3. I would agree on the Hudson.
  4. 6th back from the front, the big square one, is a early mid 20's Hudson coach.
  5. The bottom switch , with no key hole, is American Bosh, used on Hudson for the early 20's.
  6. Sorry Oldford, but the Essex is a 4 cyl. Not a 6cyl as implied by the year you think it is. The last year for the E4 was 23. It is easy to tell the differance between an early Essex 19-23 and the later ones 24-26,by the bevel on the rad. The e4 has a hard edge on the rad at the belt line level and the E6 is radiuset and smooth.
  7. This is my idea of a Speedster Hot rod!!!
  8. West, the Photo of the red Hudson, from 2009 detriot is a "mile a minute". If you look close you can see the added cross member, with the front spash guard.
  9. A complete and true "Mile a Minute" will have a splash pan forward of the radiator, with the engine crank fixed in place, This is the only time you will see this on a Hudson, 1912 mile a minute, any thing eles is just a speedster.
  10. John , I paid 5 bucks for it this morning. What's yer offer?? And most important ... What's it for??
  11. Just picked this up at a junk store. Any one know what car it's for?
  12. I got a notification from the same person! I said he had an Essex 4 rad I was looking for and could only talk to him via his email. I looked at his AACA posts = 0, and his join date was the same day as his PM to me. I DID NOT REPLY!
  13. Well... if you like you drinks with ice.....
  14. Awesome Photos! What a great day that looks to be! Thanks for posting that!!!!
  15. Those two cars in the same sentence!!! This is gonna be a fun topic!!
  16. Im going to have to say Ford trucks from the 69 to 75. From what I see, they are the most common vintage vehicle on the road today.
  17. very cool looking! I see nothing that is Essex 4 except the rad. What are your plans for it?? Im looking for an Essex 4 radiator.
  18. It is a 28 standard sedan, Its interesting that the car in Keiser's photo has the same after market bumpers on, as the OP's car.
  19. Im glad I asked! Very Cool story and a great project. After looking at the first photo, I would have to agree with your theory that something is going on, on the front of that motor. I only assume this by the fact that the Elesmann (looking) mag is 90 degrees the the motor, so this leads one to believe that the front of the crank has been alterd for some reason. Great story and good luck, keep us informed of your research.
  20. Yup, slow for me to, but.... worth every bit of waiting!!!
  21. Had no idea Reo was into small motors. I haven't had a chance to research about yet or see if it will go. I literally pulled it out of a dumpster the other day.
  22. Sorry, but I have to ask.... What's it going on!!!
  23. Nice car. That video was posted in 2009, most likey long sold.
  24. your link does not take me any where?
