1942 Dodge

came across these stainless ribs ? each about 1/8" thick, 5/8" wide & 9" tall, and of course no numbers on anything.... any one have an idea as to what they came off of ?

looks to be a 1919 California plate on the front of that car...

could be for a dealer emblem

I would tend to think these were interior parts Screwed on not bolted on because of the recessed holes (hard to put a wrench on something counter sunk below grade)

Cool trim that I think would be a crank hole cover but for what car ? about 3" tall 2" wide i'am thinking early 40's because of the stud on the back side to hold it in place, all older ones that I have seen have spring clips for mounting... any ideas ?
