I think the 3 window coupe had the handle for the rumble seat inside so I would say it's a 5 window. Also, the 1936 plate doesn't necessarily mean the car is 36.
On most cars the engine (and the fan) turn clockwise as viewed from the front. You can check the fan blades to see which way it would have to turn to pull air

The reason 16 inch (35 wheels) were always more popular than 17 inch was because the tires were so common in the forties and early fifties when a lot of Model As were still in use
I was told the 15 had a 50/50 windshield while the early 16 had a 60/40 so I say the car is a 15. That's also a way to spot a 16 or 17 that has had a brass radiator installed to pass it off as a true brass T
