SURE LOOKS LIKE OAKLAND AROUND 1918 / 19. THE SPARE IS UNUSUAL, COULD BE A BIT OF EARLY CUSTOMIZING.................NOEL
  2. LOOKS LIKE DODGE, I THINK THE BODYWORK MIGHT PREDATE THE COWL. IS IT ATTACHED OR HAS THE COWL JUST BEEN SAT THERE FOR THE PHOTO?? NOEL
  3. THE ESSEX IS A 1926 TUDOR. GOT ONE JUST LIKE IT AT HOME. HASN'T BEEN OUT OF THE GARAGE SINCE 1975. ONLY THE SECOND OWNER, IT WAS LITERALLY USED BY THE TWO LITTLE OLD LADYS TO GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS. FROM MEMORY THERE'S ABOUT 26K ON THE CLOCK. STILL HAS THE SHIPPING DESTINATION [ BRISBANE ] PAINTED UPSIDE DOWN ON THE CHASSIS. ROTTEN THING TO DRIVE. NOEL

  8. 1915 Overland model 81 with some personal customizing........Noel
  9. It is a Buick, Not one of their most attractive years for design but boy they sure did make a magnificent 7 pass tourer on the big chassis then. Noel
  10. The Chassis is indeed a Mitchell Model S. This was Mitchells six cylinder offering for the 1910 - 11 seasons. The chassis number will give us a an exact fix on the year. There were three versions through this period. I found little more than what you have here retired from service as a farm saw mill trailer when I was still in High School and have spent the past 30 years piecing it back together. the lads are right, the engines for these are nigh on impossible to find, only one has ever surfaced . if you would like any other detailed information on these I'd be happy to help., please feel free to drop me a line. noeldpe@optusnet.com.au Noel
  11. Sure seems to be the hint of a very small door back there but the body looks like a Club four passenger Roadster with entry to the rear between the seats. The radiator has a Jordan look to it but those hub caps sure look a lot like the Briscoe Coronet. Could well be one of Briscoes offerings in the late teens
