  1. kmstrade, Great FB page, thank you for sharing.
  2. Yes, I will PM you when I get home April 15 to 30
  3. Hope you find some, but If you do have some cast, there are some members in the Hupp Club with Model 32's that may also need some. You could place an add in the Hupp Parts Locator if you do end up casting them and could recoup some of your cost .
  4. Great car, thank you for taking the time to show us this fine car. As for the door latch pulls, maybe you could have them made on a lathe in a machine shop.
  5. Well I took the car to N.H. because i was worried about it getting destroyed in a hurricane. Its locked inside a steel trailer, inside a steel building so mother nature can not harm a piece of history. When Dale blessed me with this car, I told him i would keep it safe. If I can sell the 1926 Ajax when we get home, there is a good possibility we can take the Pierce to Indiana. George and Mark, thank you for the encouragement.
  6. Just 8 weeks left before I can take the Pierce Arrow out of winter storage and drive a real car. Its a long winter when you can not drive a car that makes you feel like a million bucks. I did manage to get the front fender of the 1926 Ajax repaired so I can sell that car when I get back home.

The car in the background is a 1923 Willys Knight. A guy in Fl just had to have this car so I sold it to him. I still have Toooo many more.
  8. Who in hell is talking about steak?
  9. I have driven that car 23,000 miles. The best day was when i took my daughter to her wedding.
  10. It is a 3 piece windshield, The advertisement in the car brochure called it The pilot house View.
  11. My 1936 Hupmobile Model N 8 cyl 4dr sedan is 1 of 21 produced in 1936. total production 1935, 1936 and 1937 262 cars in 3 body styles. When I go to a car show or a Hupp tour , people lookat my car because they never saw one. Its only valuable to me . not as a collector car

Must have been a new sales person. My 1924 Hupp Model R sedan has the same type as yours. I bought 5 new tires and tubes about 10 years ago. Almost forgot 4 tires and tubes for my 1929 Hupp Model A with wood wheels that have the same type as yours.

Getting your tubes from Coker tire, If you gave them what car you were working on they would give you the correct stem length you needed.

Take the drain plug in the pan out. This will give you an idea how much crap is in the oil. As a personal thing , I always drop the pan and check all the engine bearings clearances and clean all the sediment that may be in the pan. LOOK for any metal such as broken cotter keys as this would be an indication that maybe there is a loose nut somewhere and not behind the steering wheel. Ha Ha
  16. Being a Hupp guy since 1967, I knew that a hupp guy would come up with the answer to help a fellow Hupp guy.
  17. That's a car that needs to be serviced and driven AS IS, no fancy restoration.
  18. If there was not a trunk bolted to the car, they would be used as ti-downs for any thing you needed to carry on the trunk rack.
  19. This car is from Florida, not a northern rust bucket. It considered an antique being 28 years old. Mileage is 105,370 . New soft top. Pb, Ps, Pw, Ac. Auto and cruise control. Factory CD player, cassett player and radio. All will need to be re programed. Speakers in the doors and headrests. Engine runs well and transmission shifts good. Cruise control works. Ac needs to be serviced. Over all for a 28 year old car its Good. This car is # 1928 of 4000 Special Editions produced in 1991. Price is $ 2495 with a clean title. PM me for more info. Car is in Hudson Fl. See pic
  20. How about a Pic of your 32?
  21. The namesake of this pedal car was produced from 1921 to 1927. In 1922 they had a v-8 with twin over head cams, my friend in N.H. had one.
  22. If a curved dash Olds made it in 7.2991, its not had to believe a Hupp Model 20 made it in 4.0290. The first Hupp was more than likely modified.
  23. i want to load the back of the cap but can not, they are NOT rusty
