  10. The last four batteries I've used all came from BatteriesPlus. I put an 8volt in my stude it fits in the battery box just as the 6volt did. I find they last longer than any other battery for the price They are made by Mallory so far so good Ken
  11. I brought this up a few months back,,it,s 2200 mile round trip from Louisiana to Penn. my car made senior in Nov 2015' I would have liked to try for a GN award ,too far for me, I ask this question again, who would it hurt if we had 5-10 percent of any national meet open to GN we did a meet in 2015 in Houma, as I remember we had about 152 entrants,Galveston did one 2016 maybe less than 150 .Mobile did one in March 2018 ,maybe 125 entrants.I went to all three ,all were well done I fully understand that the cars and people are mostly in N.E. we need the folks from north ,but they don't need us to have a large meet.just saying!
  12. I can attest to the fact that the market is soft for 1930 Studebaker Presidents Matt you do a really good job of marketing. You expounded on the fact that the car was 12 volt.no one said one harsh word that it not original. A few months back I offered a suggestion to switch to a 8 volt battery and was chastised. Again, good job, really nice Nash. Don,t forget my idea about flyers, you took that post down, that was my one and only purple cup,and now it,s gone. lol Ken
  13. You are correct,I believe they are 15-3/4" in dia. Actually they are called covers instead of brake drums, Mfg.by Bendix three shoes per wheel. maybe 3/16" thick at best.
  14. Were Buicks of that era the exception to the positive ground,??
  15. I have an ad in Hemmings for the last 11months,also in Classic Cars.com for 18 months. Ebay is my last resort. Ken
  16. Thanks for your thought's It appears that my kind of pre war car is completley out of favor at this time. I'll give it some time at this price and see what happens. At this time it's in pristine condition so if l start using it on tours that's when the chips and scratches happen and its downhill from there Ken
