2nevets
This has been in my family for 30 plus years-we did a cosmetic restoration about 20 years ago. The car has not been out of the garage since 2004. This was my fathers pride and joy .The car needs a mechanical restoration again-the motor is tired so that should be overhauled. All the rubber will need replacing such as brake lines-hoses-fuel lines- etc-The car is a solid car that ran down the road nice and tight but its time for a redo.I did put on new exhaust-leaf springs-and other forgotten parts, This is a factory ac car but that has not worked in years-The pic I have are lousy and the car looks better in person, the way you see it is the way I pulled it out of the garage- it needs a wash and wax and the leather interior needs a cleaning.I wish I had better pics of the underneath to show how clean it is. please call Steve at 845-863-6327 25K Edited October 15, 2018 by 2nevets (see edit history)
Chasingbuick
Beautiful car and the pictures are great as well so don't knock them. Really cool interior color. Good Luck on the Sale. I also want to say what a cool garage with me being a huge clint eastwood fan. I have never seen a poster that size of Kelly's Heroes! I have a shoulder tattoo of the Outlaw of Josey Wales character on my back. I have been lucky enough to meet him a couple of times when I lived up in Sun Valley. Good Luck again on the sale of this beautiful Car

Matt Harwood
Clean and detail it, get the junk out of the trunk, vacuum the interior, make the whitewalls white again, take the trash bags out of the back seat, and spend an hour or two really cleaning the engine and you'll have no trouble selling it at that price. Make it look less neglected and you'll see stronger buyer response. These are terrifyingly expensive to restore and since yours doesn't need a full restoration, you should make it look like it. Those pictures are closer to barn find than finished car and that does the car a disservice. It is surely much nicer than the photos indicate, but most folks only look at photos and move on and nothing there builds buyer confidence. I post 1000 word descriptions with my cars but 80% of the people who call ask questions that are already answered in the description. Pictures sell cars. Make the car look its best and watch what happens. Good luck! Edited November 28, 2018 by Matt Harwood (see edit history) 3

60FlatTop
Even if they didn't put coolant in the car they could spring for a $20 upper hose. (I'm guessing Dad owned the local auto parts store.) Matt's right. What does it take to look just a little less neglected. It looks like a good car and reasonably priced. I could net about $10,000 on that car if I put three day's effort into it. I thought about it. Bernie
