A friend of mine is looking at the '64 in the link above.  I noticed it had an ROA sticker and I thought I would ask if anybody knew the car.  It is at a dealer in Clarkston Michigan.

Familiar, it is an Ebay RNM car (Reserve Not Met).  From the seller's completed listings he must specialize in them.

                   In the video you can see that all the pot metal pieces on the car like the rear view mirrors are horribly pitted.

It's not a bad looking car with some good extra options, mirrors, remote vents, deluxe interior, horns, cruise.  We've all put money into fixing up and even restoring cars.  You 'll quickly have that much into it if you do a lot of the work on the car yourself.  By the way Southern Motors is about 30min from me.  I might have to take a quick trip and check this thing out.  Don't need a second Riv but still be nice to see in person.

The narrator mentioned a big no, no for a nailhead.  He said that when the engine was overhauled, hardened valve seats were installed.  OUCH! Why would an engine need to be overhauled at only 88,000 miles?
