allcars Posted March 6, 2017 Share Posted March 6, 2017 I might be able to visit the Chickasha pre-war meet for part of a day this year. Looks like it is set for Friday-Saturday March 17-18. If I have to choose which day to go, any recommendations. I'll be looking for misc stuff for my '40, but like to look at cars for sale, too. I am really curious to hear how attendance and Buick parts availability is, since they moved this to Friday Saturday from Thursday Friday. Every year is different, and you never know who shows up on the buying or selling side. Wear a lanyard around your neck with a sign big enough for people to read from a distance with the year and make of your car. My 6" x 8" sign said "1925 Buick". I made more worthwhile contacts after the meet, and found more parts from these people that came up. We exchanged phone numbers and conducted business after the event.
