jpage
I have a '36 Dodge but I think that the '36 Plymouth has a better looking front end. Both nice cars. Don't know why they put a 201 engine in the Plymouth and a 218 in the Dodge, it couldn't have made that much difference in costs as the Plymouth was priced lower than the Dodge. ply33
. . . Don't know why they put a 201 engine in the Plymouth and a 218 in the Dodge, it couldn't have made that much difference in costs as the Plymouth was priced lower than the Dodge. I think it was branding. The Dodge was a higher priced car and one of the distinguishing features that could be advertised as making it worth the extra money was a larger displacement engine.
