Guest Gee_Rydes
Lots of variables here. Tires are very subjective

gungeey
Bob,Most folks use a 225/75R15.They'll kiss the frame at a full turn though. So 215's give a skootch more room. The bigger size looks "right" About a 1" whitewall is period correct. Hope that helps, Steve ROA 9236

RivNut
Bob,If size is all that you're concerned about, there's a bias to radial tire conversion chart on the ROA website.Ed

Jim Cannon
I have a nice radial white wall from Coker tire that is about 1.3 inch wide. I like the look. Period correct is 1 inch but hard to find. Most white wall radials that I found were less, about 3/4 inch to 7/8".

Bill Stoneberg
I run the tiger paw radials with the raised white letter. That and the wire wheels look good together.

Mr Riviera
Broadway Classics are hard to come by . 225 x 75 x 15 is the size to use and as close to a one inch whitewall as you can find. Have fun !

Guest musclecarfan65
here in germany i had to use standard dimensioned NOKIAN small truck tires due to the german TÜV regulations. i am not free to choose otherwise my car would have lost the road legally.
