They didn't do very well at copying the ox-bow either. Packard's signature front end was a nice smooth arc, not a flattened one.

Just saw a '29 633 Opera Coupe at BJ Auction, but it had Wrong carb, clear-coat paint, errors in interior and other small defects, and the bid reflected those problems.

Great Grand Wizard,

I'm wondering if you Earned your Lofty Title, or was it given to you by the organization you are a member of? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I've been told that this car is heading towards Portland Oregon. I heard it was sold again after the auction winning bid (possibly initially bought by the seller).

I wonder how many people buy their own cars back if the sales price is going to make them take a bath. It's painful as they have to take a 18% hit.

Wouldn't it be Easier to Name the things that 'Are' Original and Unmodified? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Like None! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually, the whole car is original, but not one single piece is original Packard. Even the Serial Number plate is only a reproduction. I wonder if it is actually titled as a 1926 Packard.???
