R W Burgess
There has been an extension until January 29 to register a room at the AACA reduced rate of $99.00 at the Sheraton Hotel. Some dummy that lives in the Warsaw, Virginia area almost messed up when the Hotel told him that the cutoff was Friday, not Monday(today). At any rate, because of Director, Mike Jones, we have an extension. Thanks, Mike!Don't waste time! Do it now!Wayne, the big dummy!

Overdrive
Wayne, I called the nationwide Sheraton reservation line, and of course the clerk I spoke with could not find any area Sheraton offering the AACA rate. What city/town is it in? Could you provide the exact name of the Sheraton and a direct phone number? Thanks!Scott

R W Burgess
Thanks Pedro. I didn't have the direct number. As usual, it may be a case of the new computerized era we live in. Wayne
Guest boettger
When I called the 800 number for Sheraton Reservations, I got an operator that I had a tough time convincing that the Hotel was in the United States. Her english language skills were very marginal. I eventually got so frustrated that I hung up and put the reservation in the mail Tuesday morning. I hope it gets to Phila in time to secure a reservation. The 800 number on the reservation form was totally useless. Ccar
Wow, I used the 800 number and got the national operator. I said I wanted the AACA rate at the Philadelphia Sheraton ... (whatever) and she said AACA?? Yep, got the room rate and she recorded my request - High up!... I guess you have to dial the "800" just right! Chuck (see you all there)
Ron Green
I had the same problem as you. I could barely understand any words he was speaking and finally asked for the hotels direct phone number. Called that and spoke to a very nice lady who was more then accommodating, spoke English crystal clear and emailed me my confirmation number within minutes of our conversation.I'm sure her job will be the next one cut within the organization as she also seemed to have a brain and commonsense. R W Burgess
Discounted rate is over, but it's never too late for a day trip, if you're close enough.Wayne
ex98thdrill
If it's anything like last year, don't forget to pack your snow shoes . Rick Lay
I was only able to get the AACA rate for Friday and Saturday nights. In past years, Thursday night has been included on the reduced rate. Is Thursday night out, or did I get someone who was not with the program? R W Burgess
Rick, I got all three nights at the same price. A call to Hershey, or an e-mail to Mike Jones may be in order!Wayne
