Reatta prices

I just found a site that will convert dollars spent in any year to another year.

Example, in 1988 the base price of a Reatta coupe was $25,000 in 2006 dollars that is $42,750

I take that to mean if they built the 1988 Reatta today, it would cost $42,750

Would you pay that for a new 2006 Reatta?....if true, then $30,000 for a 5,000 mile car would be a bargin.

I have a mint 1964 Parker Brothers "Sorry" Game. I think the price new was about 1.50. Today it's worth about 15.00. Abused, they are worth about half that. I wish I had 20,000 of them. If I could find someone to give me 30K for an 18 year old car regardless of miles I would take it. Link?

What would a '91 convertible cost, considering the MSRP was around $36k...?

It would have to have a more desirable drivetrain, color LCD ECC. I mean I think a new Corvette coupe starts at around $46k. LS2 versus LN3, hmmm...

The first '88 I was overpriced and I have spent some good paychecks putting it back to original condition. I do not regret spending the money. I originally bought it for an investment, now I do not intend to ever sell it. I am in the process of restoring the '88 driver I bought, did not intend to spend much on it but just keep repairing what the former owner neglected. Is it possible to become addicted to Reattas?

Considering I took the Reatta over a Capri XR2 (sorry, I have to admit I wanted one more than a Reatta at the time) I would say I became addicted after a simple test drive which included stalling out on Gratiot ave. because of the ICM, or the next test run which included water pouring down from the headliner. now that I think of it, it's actually kinda weird that I did take the Reatta after that

None of the coupes have a hole in the roof. Am too tall. Also, am not comfortable with 16 way seats, so all cars have standard seats (in great condition). The silver coupe has a factory original CD player though, that works well. AC has been retrofitted in all cars. All cars have like-new tires. Will send you a PM. To contact me, best bet is RPopyk@aol.com
