rocketraider
Better not nare one of y'all try to tell us you never fixed a leaky exhaust pipe with a beer can! 😜 We often had to use baling wire to hold it on since we were too broke to afford a hose clamp! Tom Boehm
What car is that V8 from? Appears to be 1950's ? Overhead valve. The pipe connecting the exhaust manifolds in the front caught my attention.

This one appears to me to be in a 54-56 Ford truck.

And I can promise that aluminum beer can wrap would burn your arms quick as the steel crossover pipe would. Maybe quicker! I think a few other makes used that style crossover pipe too.

Ding! 1954 F-250, Y8-239 that had a real hard life with a financially frugal farmer as owner.
