I owned one of these '67s, and based on the pictures and the sellers description, it should be a fantastic cruiser. Price may seem high, so if a personal inspection proves everything is as good as represented, it should be money well spent. Last Imperial with real wood veneer inside, and first with front disk brakes. (though an uncommon configuration, so check brakes well.) Unibody, so check undercarriage well too. Continues Chrysler torsion bar front suspension, so check that car sits properly.

I used to own a similar 1968 Imperial sedan and while it was a fairly nice car and fun for awhile it really wasn't anything special or exciting IMO so I sold it. It just wasn't a permanent keeper for me. This hardtop is a very nice example but it's still a 4-door with a somewhat crusty engine compartment and a rather ambitious price tag. I just think $18K could be better spent on something else that's maybe a little smaller and a little more sporty but GLWTS.
