Jeff Perkins / Mn
Beautiful car! I restored one of these back in the early 80’s. The interior style looks correct but I did not recall an interior in that color being available. Mine car was crème w/ grey upholstery and black bolsters. theconvertibleguy
On one hand, that price is really high. Like I can get a Packard for a comperable price tag for that era. On the flipside, I've never seen an early 50's Chevy ragtop. Fords? Monarchs? Mercury? Lincolns? Packards? All for sure. But it's really hard to find any GM products from then. neil morse
What is this? Something to do with the convertible top?
Jeff Perkins / Mn
@neil morse Mine had a hydraulic top, I cannot remember what it all looked like under the hood. I sold it in 1983. Looks like a reservoir on the right firewall and the switch on the left.
TAKerry
Ive said it before, for the asking it better be the best one out there and this one may be. Just too much money for me for a 50's car though.
DrumBob
That might be the nicest one extant, so maybe the high price is justified. If I had that car, I'd be afraid to drive it anywhere! It's too nice.
