mikewest
I recently bought a original 1937 Buick . The car came from PA., is not rusty but has plenty of road grime, hard old grease and oil buildup. I want to clean it up real sanitary. The dry ice blasting looks great but I've gotten one price locally at $2200 -2500 $. Has anyone else used it?? Thank you mike
alsancle
I have a buddy who bought the equipment with the idea of getting into the business. It’s actually super complicated. And that price doesn’t surprise me. 1
Akstraw
One of my local shops now uses it. Very effective at chassis cleanup. I think their rate is $150/hour, with a typical undercarriage taking 6-8 hours. Edited March 14 by Akstraw (see edit history)
Rusty_OToole
Why would you do that? What about scraping it off then pressure washing like everyone else? 4
Hans1
Just today, checked on renting a hot water blaster. Gas engine runs pump and hot water boiler runs on diesel. $93. for four hours and $130 for 24 hrs. Tractor Supply for some cleaning fluid to put in the water. Looks heavy duty, they use it for cleaning their rental items: tractors, trenchers, heavy equipment. Black Swamp Equipment ( NW Ohio and S Michigan ) I will use them, instead of buying,
