You know, of course, that the AACA Forum charges by the word for posting any technical information requests. 

 

For heaven's sake, when asking a question, be as verbose as possible. The more information you give, the better answer you'll get.

As a member of the H.H. Franklin Club you get access to all the Franklin company drawings. That way you can look up the proper color for the part you want. There is no general engine color.

On my 145, the cylinders and crankcase are unpainted.  The valve covers and the fan ducting are black.  My car was restored back in the early eighties.  Not original, so who knows?
