I sure would like to meet some of the people I talk to via this forum in Flint.

Has anyone from the Buicktown chapter thought about arranging a meeting perhaps on Friday for the bunch of us on here ?

If not a formal meeting, can we arrange to meet someplace and at least say "Howdy" to each other ?

Suggestions anyone ?

I will post a notice on the Bulletin board of a time to meet in the hospitality room. As we get more of the seminar times and the events schedules, there has to be a time when we could meet. I will have a table with a sign "Buick Club Forum" so you can stop by. I will be the fat old guy with the big grin!!

Count me in.

I am not bringing a car. Just a P/U filled with parts.

Don't know where i will be located in swap meet. I always bring an extra chair.

I get tired talking and have to sit down and rest.

Bill I located several nos chrome clips for the front fender trim for the 50 - 70 series, write me if you need some.

I think ( as usual) that roberta has come up with a simple solution. Plan on meeting one hour before the general membership meeting,in the same room . I was whipped end to end with an ugly stick when I was young, so Norb and I run a close race( but he has white hair and mine is just gray)

Seems like we mentioned a similar deal for Kokomo, something like sitting on a curb and sipping a cold bear and talking about things, but I don't guess a curb was ever decided upon as the Dog & Suds was closed? Maybe we need a more concerted effort to make it happen this time? I concur that Roberta's suggestion would probably be the most doable as it's near a particular point of focus of the meet. It should be a busy time in Flint, I suspect. Perhaps the "official posting" of the meeting time/place can be near the check-in area?

When Roberta introduced me to Joe at Kokomo, I don't recall him being any worse for wear, but then I'm not James Garner either.

Enjoy!

I will be gone all day Friday ,as I am in charge of the performance divisions drag race in Milan. I guess that for those the arrive Friday , you will have to go pester Norb at his swap meet space. Maybe we should come up with something to wear( like an orange paper triangle pinned to our shirt ,or a blue arm band) so we would recognize one another.
