Cadillac Fan
Blue looks “wrong” or more specifically a modern color.
Jim Skelly
It's missing the hood front edge molding as well as both rear wheelhouse moldings. The driver's seat looks wet on the seatback and bench. The black houndstooth interior doesn't go well with the exterior. The Cadillac crests on the roof were only used on the '67. 7th Son
Maybe it's just me, but the front tires/wheels don't seem to fit the wheel wells properly. Do the tires look too small? Other examples don't seem to appear this way.
TexRiv_63
The 68 I restored back in the 80s was originally similar to this color and had this houndstooth cloth interior. I'm sure the paint is new and the missing trim makes me suspicious of how much rust repair was done.

It looks like the optional Spectre Blue Firemist metallic color for that year. It would be surprising for someone to have ordered that since it has the houndstooth cloth interior instead of leather. The color chip looks too dark. Mine is Emperor Blue and the sample of it looks almost black. Could it be that the paint is new and is basecoat-clearcoat, too shiny to look appropriate for 1968? It appears that way: On 12/31/2023 at 5:57 PM, 58L-Y8 said: Edited January 1 by John_S_in_Penna (see edit history)
