joe_padavano
What? You mean that simply using one's name as the post title isn't descriptive enough??? 🤣
mrspeedyt
a suggestion. when you do change the title, you post that you changed the title. it would be helpful to have the original title somewhere in that post, just out of curiosity. thank you. While creating some extra work for the moderator (Peter), this suggestion may have merit by helping to educate the members with examples of an inadequate original title compared to the better modified title
Matt Harwood
Having a descriptive title also helps Google index the site so future people looking to solve a similar problem are better able to find the answers. This is the single best repository of antique car information that has ever existed on the planet--do your part to make it useful and beneficial to others! 9 1
Ronnie
Here's a tip... If you start a topic with the title of something like "Help Needed", and then after you have posted your topic you realize how useless your title is, you can still edit the title. -Put your mouse pointer over the title and hold down the left mouse button until you see the bold title change to normal text inside a box. -Then edit the title to something that gives a good description of what your topic is about - like "Help Needed - '32 Ford water pump leaking". -When you're done editing your title, click a blank space on the page and your new title will be saved.
