Xander Wildeisen
That’s a good buy if it comes with all those parts.
Fossil
It will be a better deal if it comes with a title.
Paul from PA
I know the car and it does have a good PA title
Xander Wildeisen
I follow 50 mercs, I am glad this is far away from me. I have owned two of them, could do something foolish like sell something to buy another. Look away, look away! 1
Malo48
'49/'50 is one of my bucket list cars. Never drove one, but I have always loved the styling and can't remember the last time I saw one that wasn't turned into a boring lead sled.
deac
Hard to assess this one. I agree with Malo that most of these have been turned into lead sleds - BORING!
Xander Wildeisen
I would put a well done merc custom right up there with a 32-34 Ford. Very desirable cars if done right.
Marty Roth
I had an all-original but appropriately used "James Dean" 1950 Coupe , a decent one, but no place to store it. A friend on this forum offered a garage space in Alexandria, LA, 200 miles away and I graciously accepted. The following spring he advised that someone made a serious offer and I (regrettably) accepted. Shortly afterward, it was hot-rodded.
Xander Wildeisen
I drove this one around a lot. The one sitting under the lift was a nice car. Great car to start with, how ever you did the build.
