1931 Buick 90, not mine.

He was clearly afraid of walking 10 feet over to his neighbors yard to get a side shot.   Do you remember the nice one for sale on the forum for a long time?  I think from Maine?  Identical.  But  a lot more money.  I think the expensive one was a better deal.

Agreed. 
 

This has been listed for a few months, original asking price was $12,500. It could be a cool car. But the amount of work required is daunting. I would expect there’s a ton of wood work involved. 
 

I am not an expert - how does one confirm it’s a 90 series (other than measuring the wheelbase)?
