Dave Wells
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/cto/d/national-city-1918-buick-touring-car/7676510839.html (It looks legit to me!) 1918 Buick Touring from the collection of the San Diego Automotive Museum. Originally donated to the museum by the R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility in 2008, this car is in unrestored condition and will need significant work to be roadworthy. That being said, vehicles from this era grow rarer and rarer, and even in unrestored condition it is a striking silhouette. Engine does start and idle. email only - ce9abdc255503a7eac1b51c9d8b73c03@sale.craigslist.org
B Jake Moran
Smoking hot deal. Will last “not long”. Even though this era is not as hotly collected anymore at higher prices, anytime you price a project car like this at $4,000 someone will buy it.
cjmarzoli
Agreed. A complete, solid, running 1918 car for under $5k! Decent stuff under 5k always goes quick. Doesn't even look like it needs that much work to be roadworthy. I'd clean up, sort out and drive mostly as is.

edinmass
And it's a great driver for around town and tours up to 40mph. Instant fun for almost free.......

Donovan Correctional Facility If anyone wanted to spring for this and take custody, it would be almost free, of course you would have to do the time, to finish the sentence. Does it run? Maybe, but I don't want to start anything. The ad doesn't mention papers, in this case maybe you should steer clear of being registered? To get it judged you would have to subject yourself to a jury of your peers and stick to your convictions. But baring any difficulties you could maybe get out of it eventually. . . .
rydersclassics
"Engine starts and idles." 3000 miles away from me, if it were 300 miles I would check it out.
