jan arnett (2)
Getting to the end of a 25 year project and I have an interesting challenge for my 1923 Dodge screen side. There were no side curtains with it when I pulled it from the barn. It has various snaps and fastners which I have but there is one I can not identify. On the bottem of the side curtain and in various other locations it has the following fastiner which I am unfamilar with. It is neither lift a dot or murphy, what is it and where would I get the female part.

30DodgePanel
Just curious, ... does rope tie onto that in turn holding the side curtains in place?
Mark Gregush
Those might be the single step type listed in the Master parts list. After car 402772 it shows 6 of them. The Master Parts List does not show them or what holds the curtain in place (pretty sure it also said something about rivets) but guessing the curtain wraps around and has an eyelet that goes over the bracket then spring loaded pin holds it in place. Maybe something like what would hold the front top sockets to top irons on the Model T in the background.

jan arnett (2)
Your second picture down is what the fastener should look like and I am going to make some out of belt leather. For all my leather needs I get used belts from a goodwill store for a dollar. That is a great picture. Thanks Jan

Thanks Jan Well I made up a paper template and layed it on some old belt to make up a test sample. I plan on gluing it on the side curtain. I am happy with the results. Thanks for your help.
