carbking
Before thinking about ordering an expensive rebuilding kit, the carburetor should be thoroughly inspected to make certain that it is rebuildable. From the pictures, it appears the throttle flange mounting area is warped to an extent that it would not seal, and have a vacuum leak. Cannot really tell from pictures, but it appears that way. Listing the model of a Marvel carburetor is about as useful as saying it came off of a red car; the identification number is essential. That carburetor appears to be Pontiac, maybe 1930 or 1931. As Hans mentioned the number on the side of the carburetor will identify the carburetor. If you are not in a hurry, we custom-make rebuilding kits for virtually ALL Marvel carburetors. If you are in a hurry, I cannot help you. Jon
