1929 Buick 46 Coupe - $15,000

Recommended Posts

Could be a good car, you'd need to do some tests...(and get a lower price)

I think you are right.  The interior woodwork should be fancier for a 46S, and there was no model 46.  The 26S even has nicer interior, and the rear trunk lid doesnt have a handle at the top on this car, so this looks like a 26 (standard business coupe with no rumble seat).  Still may be a nice car.

Seller should've pumped up the tires enough to push it outside and clean it.

It certainly would draw more attention considering the asking price.

If you can see past the "garage dust" (barns are a bit too déclassé for Los Gatos) and junk, it looks like it might be in pretty good shape.

I like this.  Not sure where it’s price point should be, but “not running for decades” makes me think something under 10K. Assuming it is the smaller 116 series, it has a  115 3/4 in WB and a 239 six.  As AJ said, these 3W coupes look great.

after staring at the photos for a few minutes, something tells me that this car in the hands of an experienced detailer for a weekend and then brought out into the light on a sunny day with a nice background my blow you away at how good looking it is.

This car looks like a good one for me to talk a buddy into buying. If it turns out to be a disaster I can deny I ever encouraged it. If it turns out to be fabulous I can say “I told you so” and hopefully get frequent rides.
