MotiveLensPhoto
My 1995 has a bad shimmy in the front end over 30 - 40 mph. I assumed it was alignment or balance issues (or both) but I was talking to a mechanic who said it could also be transmission related. Is that a possible cause? EmTee
Start with wheels and tires. Swap fronts to rear and see if the shimmy follows the tires.

NTX5467
MIGHT be a lock-up torque converter having issues when it tries to lock-up. When the vibration starts, can it be lessened or disappear if the throttle is backed-out of? Or get worse if more throttle is applied? If either of those work to change it, then a new/reman torque converter is needed soon, plus a fluid/filter change and flushing of the cooler and lines going to it. Might also, for diagnostic purposes only, plug the EGR valve to see if that changes anything, too. NTX5467
60FlatTop
A '95 in Illinois, the engine cradle may be hanging on by the two front bolts. There is a whole lot of hands on checking that needs to be done.
