junkyardjeff
I got these today and the box is for the Barracuda I got a couple weeks ago and even has the missing front bumper. Running out of room but can not pass them up,no need to buy new kits now as I have at least 30 60s models to restore.
junkyardjeff
Going to tinker with the F100 first, trying to think what engine to put in since the original has a correct looking Y block lower end but the heads look FE. I do have a couple more correct looking FEs that I could drop down in it. I wish a 223 six was made as I would be tempted but Mobius makes a 300. TerryB
Is the F-100 a 1960s era truck? Hard to tell from the overhead shot.
junkyardjeff
Working on it right now
junkyardjeff
Someone at AMT got the engines mixed up,the block is a correct Y block but the heads look to be FE.
TerryB
Probably no one was that well versed in Ford engines. My wife found a Revell 1966 GTO kit at a yard sale and brought it home. It’s partially painted but not assembled. Paint colors don’t match the instructions in the kit especially the engine colors. I’ll have to post some pics. TerryB
The Revelle 1966 GTO kit. I it’s missing the chrome tree that has the outer 4 outer wheels and steering wheel horn ring for sure. The red paint is extreme orange peel. Edited May 9, 2023 by TerryB (see edit history)

I saw that printing too and that was what I was thinking. It looks just like it was printed on a vintage typewriter.
Jim Skelly
I understand the Unibody F100 ('61-'63) is quite collectible; Round2 is cloning the '63 version and the kit is supposed to be out later this year
junkyardjeff
I did find the light that was on the top but not sure if I am going to put it on.
jimkf
The address on the truck is one street over from where we used to drag race in the 70s. Near the steel mills, the cops weren't interested in chasing us since there was nothing else around and they had better things to do. The address is now just an empty lot.
