For sale is my 1940 Chevy master deluxe coupe. This car is in exceptional condition. Mileage stated by previous owner is 18,000. miles. I would not normally believe this until I looked at the car, inside and out. The car is a close to looking showroom as you will find. The paint is new but it is the correct color as painted in 1940. This car is a must see if you have any interest. If interested please call 253/677/8400 ask for Ralph

This maybe the nicest looking 1940 Chevrolet that you will ever see. Sure is the nicest one that I have ever seen, but $35,000 for this model sure seems like a lot of money. I believe that you could buy a 1940 Cadillac in nice condition for that amount.

Especially when one considers that virtually any car will require some additional 'sorting', no matter how nice it appears.  I would assume I'd spend another $1500 on this (or any) car as soon as it lands in my garage...

Why would the owner have the side trim painted to match the car's color?  Otherwise, it looks nice.

Chrome is expensive!

Not as expensive as this car!

These are nice cars, capable in modern traffic. Back in the 70's a ride pooled with a guy who had one. Very roomy inside.

This is a Master DeLuxe. Those did not have bright side trim.

Thanks for the history lesson, Paul.  The Special DeLuxe came with chrome side trim.  I just looked at a brochure online and found out that there was also a Master 85 series, too!
